Dove Creek has many problems. parking, construction going on, interior and exterior old outdated grungy chipping paint dirty. the resort is stuck in a Time Warp of the 80s. the satellite television is outdated old it does not have current news outlets. the Wyndham corporation is doing a poor job management this site. I would not recommend or return to Dove Creek.

We had an expectation of decent quality vacation resort, and this property was extremely disappointing for the following reasons: 1. Directions to the property are not clear, especially at night it is very hard to find the property. 2. We did late Checkin. Lobby closes at 7 pm. So finding room and checking in experience was very poor. 3. Rooms have very old furniture (low quality), Ceiling fans above bed and entry area looked so old that we were scared that they may fall down and we turned them off. 4. Bathrooms are unclean and shabby. They were low on supplies and there was no way for us to ask refills. 5. Bedside lamp in the bedroom was broken/ not working. 6. Breakfast had very limited choices and they were not healthy either. It was way subpar compared to the one provided by properties that cost in the range this property charges its customers. Overall, this property didn’t give us a feeling of staying at resort. It charges resort fee but has no good quality amenities that the guests can really feel delighted about. We do not plan to stay here again.

We were not “greeted” with a warm greeting, it was more like we inconvenienced him when we arrived. We did not get a room with a pullout sofa like stated on the letter we received in an envelope. The next morning there was NO breakfast and we were there at 7:59am. Not even coffee. When we got back to our room they pulled the comforter back on the bed but didn’t clean up the coffee station or leave more coffee for us in the room. Final morning same thing, very little breakfast left or put out. For a Wyndham hotel that charged as much as they did, VERY disappointing

The front desk lady was great. Check in was quick and easy & she gave us local Info & recommended local places to go. Bikes were available for our use. Restaurant next door was convenient. Rooms were fairly clean. Didn’t try the continental breakfast as we left too early.

Place and staff were great. Lagoon was rough but everything se made up for it. The staff was pleasant and interactive. They were doing some remodel in the process but it did not interfere with our trip or was done at inconvenient times.
