Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had a great stay at this property. The #1 highlight is the cabana and pool area. The cabana is great for relaxing, reading, playing games and getting out of the sun. The outdoor area is completely private thanks to the beautifully landscaped yard. There is plenty of seating and lounges around the pool.Other great features of this property include:-Location: We parked the car and explored the island by foot.-Cleanliness: the house is well very clean-Grill: The grill was immaculately clean and an extra full tank was available-Communication: The property management company was easy to deal with and the check-out procedure has far fewer items than other VRBOs-House is well stocked: The kitchen has all the plates, cups, cooking utensils, pots, and pans you could hope for. There are plenty of pool towels as well.-Comfortable living room furnitureThe one big draw-back of this house is the A/C unit location next to the cabana. When it turns on, you have to raise your voices to have a conversation.Some other slight areas for improvements: -New/more pillows -Nearing time for new mattressOverall, we'd stay here again. If your family loves spending as much time as outdoors as possible, this is the place for you!

Oh my goodness! Did we have a wonderful time, or what! This was absolutely, positively the most perfect place to spend our holidays. The house itself is beautiful, and the pool is such a nice addition. You can step outside and take a dip anytime you want, and then rinse off in the outdoor shower! (We actually did all of our showering outside because it was just so much fun.) The kitchen was beautifully equipped with every possible utensil we could need to make great dinners. The layout of the house is conducive to group gatherings and the living/dining area, and the bedroom area is all very private. Perfect! And next, let's talk about the location… It could not possibly be better! We were only about a block from the beach, and the downtown area on is only about 1 mile away on pleasant, safe streets. Even though we had a rental car, we mostly walked everywhere, simply because it's so fun to walk in Key West. There's always something beautiful to see. Key West itself offers so much: beautiful beaches, great museums, a movie theatre right downtown, fabulous restaurants, and always (always!) lots of interesting things to see and do. We used to live here, and returning back was nothing short of magical. Thanks again to the wonderful, helpful, kind staff for making our stay so memorable. We'll be back, we promise!

Amazing Place at the Keys

The house was amazing and we enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the house was a little ways from Duvall. The pool was great although it is a bit deep for younger children. It seemed like the shallowest point was around 4 feet and quickly got deeper to around 8 feet. Just a warning for folks with smaller kids. Audrey was our main contact and she went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. Thank you!

Home Away From Home

Absolutely love house, incredible pool and perfect location. Right around the corner from Higgs Beach and about 5 min by bicycle from anywhere in Key West. The parking spot was amazing, and we got a lot of use out of it — being able to haul back groceries from Publix in a trunk vs a toddler carrier was a huge plus. The team managing the home is also excellent and great to work with.

The garden is a show stopper. We felt like we were secluded in paradise to the point that we almost didn't want to go out into Key West! lol Oh! And we met a lovely hen and her chicks living in the back garden the day we left. Very Key West!

The house has everything you would need. Plenty of room, nice quiet neighborhood, minus the roosters.. but its Key West so... The pool and patio were highlights of our trip! Only negative, dont do laundry when you are home. Machine is annoyingly loud

Private, Beautifully landscaped and a Big Pool

The house was beautifully landscaped which provide privacy and a resort like feeling. The pool is heated and one of the biggest I have seen in Key West. It long and about 3 feet to 8 feet deep. Loves the 2 large master bedrooms the third room was small and didn’t have its own bath. Great size and very reasonable priced. A little farther from the Duval but very quiet at night. Very clean and nice

Awesome Property

The property was very nice. Especially the private pool and garden. Amazing cabana. There were 3 bedrooms, 2 with ensuites and 1 smaller bedroom. The smaller bedroom had a trundle bed that when in use, blocked the door. This room would've been better served with bunk beds. The official listing says no assigned parking, which is technically true. However, there are 2 spots directly in front of the gate to this property and we used one spot all week. The other spot was not used by anyone. All the other properties in this area also had spots by their front entrances so although there is technically not assigned parking, it unofficially belonged to this property so there is no worries at all about parking.

Great Place!

Cute place. As you enter thru front gate, you have lots of landscaping and pool off to the side. Chickens with babies roam thru the yard occasionally adding to the character and ambiance. Simple yet welcoming interior with plenty of amenities. We will stay here again!

Great, but...

Property is very nice and clean. Everything is as you would hope to be, which is great, except... The number 1 problem is the 3rd Bedroom! While it does have a small closet I can see that this barely qualifies as a room for 2 adults. 2 kids or 1 adult but Absolutely not 2 adults! This room has a single bed with a trundle bed that rolls underneath the single bed for storage. This trundle bed has a frame that can raise it's height to meet the initial single bed so essentially you have 2 single beds pushed together. If you choose to do this then you CANNOT OPEN or CLOSE THE BEDROOM DOOR! The closest bathroom is in the hallway just outside of this 3rd bedroom so you obviously want ease if access to the bathroom which means that you need to lower the trundle bed and slide it under the stationary single bed JUST so you can open the bedroom door! In this 3rd bedroom a bunk bed would be better for 2 adults rather than this trundle bed. Otherwise, I would absolutely stay here a

Perfect Stay

This Private villa was a vacation come true. From our own private pool to the forest-like private entrance to the villa, this whole-house stay was all but perfect. Everything was as listed! Spacious inside. All amenities included! We were greeted by iguanas, lizards, and a rooster who cam by daily we named Ruby the Red. Inside, we never experienced any animals or bugs. The villa was also within 5 mins walk to Higgs beach and about a 10 min drive to Duval Street. Our family would definitely 100% stay again at this perfect villa!

Lackluster

While dropping off our luggage, we quickly walked around the home and noticed a few things out of place. There was a large piece of duct tape on the whirlpool bathtub stating ‘Wet Caulk. Do Not use until Oct 27’ It was now November 3rd. Also the side panel on the whirlpool tub was barely attached. We noticed a light fixture in the same bathroom on a shelve that still needed to be installed. As well as screws and a fixture in the laundry room and what appeared to some type of outside vent laying on the ground outside. Just as we were leaving two very kind gentleman appeared and stated they were in fact completing some projects in the home. They were very accommodating and gave us some great spots to check out. We were surprised to see these areas were still left unfinished upon return, but hoped none of these areas would hinder our stay. As we were unpacking we heard a continuous scrapping sound coming from the master bed room. We initially thought it might be overgrown foliage but were surprised to see more people spackling and working on the side of the home. They were just finishing up for the day and wished us well. We continued to enjoy the home and all of the amenities throughout the week. The backyard with the outdoor living room is defiantly the high point of the home. We were surprised to learn that a pest control company would be coming at some point on the last day of our stay to complete a monthly treatment. While asking questions regarding the areas and timeframe about the Pest Control Company, the initial team member from Vacation Rentals seemed pretty bothered and refused to share any information. The next day, while waiting on a reply we found two American Cockroaches in the kitchen. One was dead and the other nearly dead. I had again reached back out to Vacation Rentals to share our concern and was told these arear. Since we still had several days left in the home and were uneasy about having to deal with the potential of more roaches, I reached back out for a resolution. Vacation Rentals stated that the would share this with the pest control company son they would pay close attention to this area. Ensuring each person feels welcome in a clean and comfortable home needs to be the top priority. We felt like a hinderance.

Perfect girls trip

We loved everything about this home. You truly felt like you were in a library in the jungle. I know that sounds odd, but trust me the tranquility was perfect. Private outdoor patio with the pool was the absolute best place to be in the evenings. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. My new favorite place in Key West.
