Loved this little hotel. It’s right in the heart of Duval Street, with so much going on, yet we never heard a peep in our room. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We originally booked just one night but ended up adding another. We did have to switch rooms, but the staff had our second room ready very early, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. The bed and pillows were amazing, and the shower was great. The hot tub and pool were both relaxing and well maintained. We even had a friendly neighborhood cat visit us several times, which was such a fun little bonus. They offered drinks in the evening and fresh, delicious breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect—smack dab in the middle of the action—so we were able to leave the truck parked and walk everywhere. The staff was truly delightful, very kind, and welcoming. I will definitely be staying here again.

The facility was nice but our room was very small. Our bathroom and floors in room were dirty. I wore white socks and they were black on bottoms. Otherwise nice place and breakfast was always good.

This was our third time staying at the Orchid Key. We brought our adult kids this time. Will always stay here. It’s conveniently located at the quieter end of Duvall street which we like. You can walk to everything. They use to give a complimentary drink for each night of your stay but this time it was one complimentary drink. They should bring that back or maybe give you a complimentary drink for half your stay. It was a big perk but the complimentary breakfast is great and the fact that hotel is for those 18 and older is also a plus.

The entire staff is so friendly and responds to any of your needs. The room was so clean. The breakfast bar of healthy choices was wonderful. Awesome comfty robes were very special. It was New Years and the place was decorated so festive for the holiday season which included a bottle of champagne and beadsin our room. AWESOME STAY!
