Great location within walking distance to "old town." However, the deck should have been cleaned before we got there as we had to sweep it and the steps to get rid of leaves, and smashed fruit. There was no toaster, and no remote to turn on the light over the dining table, or to turn off the fan. Response by management was ok but someone should have come by the first time they were contacted.
This is a really cute place located within walking distance of all the things we wanted to see in Key West. The room is large and the beds are comfortable. The porch has a table, chairs and hammock to enjoy the breeze. We loved our stay here.
Very nice stay, the only issues were 1) no manual light on the deck made it somewhat dangerous and not as pleasant to sit out there in the mornings, and 2j the outer gate lock and doors were not functioning properly
We enjoyed Key West and thought the location was perfect. Close to everything but not too close.
Property was clean and comfortable. Stairs are mildly steep so be aware that you are located on the second floor. We very much enjoyed the visit and would come back.
Our stay was great! The location was wonderful and the apartment was nice and clean. My only complaints are the ceiling fans didnât work, the lock in the front gate was a little wonky, and out of the 3 parking garages recommended, only one actually accepted 24 hour parking that you didnât have to go back and update payment in the morning. This was unfortunately the farthest garage from the house. Other than that, the place was great and gave us everything we needed. I would definitely stay again!
Location, location, location. I would love to come back when we visit Key West again. One minor suggestion. The fan over the kitchen might need to be checked. We couldn't make it work. The rest was fantastic! Thank for the extra towels. The unit was clean, comfortable and well upkeep. Thank you for the fabulous stay!
The location is great and central to a lot of fun! We take a taxi from the airport, drop our luggage off, then walk 2 blocks down to pickup our bikes for our entire stay because parking a vehicle is hard to come by on the island. The place was great for just me and my husband but it could fit two more people comfortably. The only small cons is thereâs a beautiful large fruit tree over the deck that roosters live in which is awesome to watchâŠuntil you realize they crow literally all night and early morning. The deck is sketchy as well as the floor as soon as you walk in the door. They both seem to be caving in as you walk on it and weâre small people. The view across the street looks like housing projects for locals but youâre in paradise and donât spend a lot of time looking over the deck anyway.
We had no idea how close we were to everything. This place is perfect if you want to be near Duval St. It is one block from where everything is happening but not too close to hear all the commotion when itâs time to wind down. It is clean and tidy with a private balcony. Nobody knows your up there and you have a birds eye view of the street. There are sooo many restaurants, bars, shops, all within a short walk. Even the parking is less than a block away (@$50 a day). We plan to come back and hope this place is available. Oh, one more thing, bring some noise canceling headphones or some ear plugs if your a light sleeper. The roosters start up at around 1:30am and they like to crow right outside your window and everywhere on the island. Have fun!
This property was not advertised property. We had no pool, no wifi and flickering light on deck. One person received a shock when turning on outside light.
We should be compensated for this false advertising and we will think twice before using Expedia again!
My husband & I booked this for 3 nights and it was about perfect for that amount of time. Its a 1 room attic studio in a Key West historic cottage, and shares the property with two other units.
You're just a block off of Duval St, but don't worry about the noise, there's a noise ordinance after 10pm and we had no problem falling asleep. The wild roosters, on the other hand will wake you up at the crack of dawn. There's no parking available on site, but there's 2 metered lots very close, and you're just a few blocks away from the Duval Loop bus stop which will take you within walking distance of all the tourist spots. Or bicycle & gulf cart rentals are available on the island too.
There seemed to be a communication breakdown before our arrival, as I had some questions that went unanswered for several days until I finally called and spoke to someone. But once that was cleared up communication was good and they were quick to resolve an issue we had with the outdoor lighting.
Over all we had a good time.
