Stayed in Ekolu Unit 102 for just over a week, the stay was amazing!! First off, the communication from the rental company was fantastic, they even asked ahead if we needed the lights on since we were arriving late night. This unit has been nicely updated, and let me tell you; the kitchen has just about every tool or appliance you could ever need, except a Crock Pot, which thanks to a Target special they now do lol. Huge lanai with amazing views. Plenty of living space inside. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms came in handy for 3 girls. You can walk to Wailea Village and the Shops with no problem. AC worked very well, was nice to have after being in the sun all day. The only complaint would be a little street noise for the guest bedroom specifically, but nothing we couldn’t sleep through. Highly recommend, would stay again for sure!!

Great Place to stay for family. Close to everything

Upon entry, we were less than thrilled to find that the house wasn’t clean upon our arrival. There were food crumbs in the fridge, kitchen floor and counters; the guest bedroom had hair on the sheets and it looked as if the bed hadn’t been cleaned; the floors were not vacuumed (i tried to vacuum, but it didn’t work, so I swept the floors and carpets
it wasn’t a good start. I will admit, I didn’t report it to the management because we were exhausted from our flight and just wanted to get into the unit. I cleaned up on my own, though I did later report to the mgmt who quickly and graciously offered to send cleaners back to the place and offered a late check out, as well. However, once we were in. It was great. There is A LOT of street noise—even with doors/windows closed. We survived that. The water pressure in the showers is very low, so it’s a pain if you have thick hair to wash. Kitchen is fantastic to work in, is bright and open. There’s a Keurig, coffee maker and soda stream! All of the cooking instruments and utensils you need. There are a variety of pantry items available which was super helpful. Beach items were tattered, but nice to have and included 4 chairs, 2 umbrellas and 5 towels. Will probably need replacing soon. Beds are queen-sized and are comfortable. 2 bathrooms have showers only. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d recommend.

Surprisingly amazing

We loved everything about this condo. From the beautiful layout of the interiors to the full kitchen with everything you needed to the best views of the ocean. Is also located in a beautiful area of Wailea. I would say the only downside to it is that is next to a busy street , so when you seat outside on the lanai is noisy. But if you are used to that it won’t be a problem. We would definitely come back to this place! Highly recommend it.

Beautiful View, Awesome Location, Well-Appointed Unit

My 85-year old Mom and her twin sister came to visit me and stayed in the unit for 9 days. It was perfect for them! They each had their own space and we gathered in the living room or on the lanai when we shared quality time. The reviews about the street noise are 100% correct. We never got used to this. The view from the lanai was unobstructed. We could see Kaho'olawe and Molokini Crater so clearly! Mom loved watching the snorkel boats go back and forth, especially with the binoculars that were in the unit. The sunsets were phenomenal. The AC units were quiet and kept the unit cool. The kitchen was well-equipped. We didn't lack for anything. One recommendation that we would offer is to add a light to the bottom of staircase going up to the unit. That very first step is very hard to see in the dark. I received several email communications from the management company that provided all the information we needed before and during our stay. They reached out before Mom's arrival to ask the approximate time we would check into the unit so that they could leave a few lights on if we were coming in late (which we did). I appreciated this thoughtfulness. I would recommend this unit and would consider staying there again. Mom was very happy with the accommodations, which was the ultimate goal all along. Mahalo for helping us make great new memories!

Wonderful condo

I only give it 3 stars because of the location. Condo was modern, very tastefully updated with a wonderful front ocean view. I love the complex because of its great location : walking distance to everywhere and we love to walk 😊 The challenge of the condo is its location in the complex, when I booked it, I overlooked the location not realizing it was right on Wailea Ike Drive at the intersection. If noise does not bother you : great, it was not pleasant, and dinner on the terrace was difficult. Other than that, the condo was great. I would rent again at Wailea Ekolu but a different location. The rental manager at Maui Rentals was great and very helpful. I would rent from them again.

The property was very clean, with gorgeous view of the ocean from and sun sets every night. Walking distance to cafes, the shops at Wailea and the ocean. This unit can be a bit noisy on the lanai due to the proximity to the main road.

Great location, nicely decorated

Unit 102 is a very nice property with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable seating in the family room. Location is ideal for walking to Wailea Tennis Club, and The Shops at Wailea. The property is right on a main road and a tad noisy but other than that we loved sitting on the Lanai looking at Molokini and spotting whales at times. We look forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed staying in this unit with the family for 8 nights. The unit is beautiful , clean, the pictures are accurate. The location is super comfortable , few min from coffee shop and Wailea shopping mall. Communication with property management was great and easy.

Just like home, but better

This property made our trip so easy and so relaxing. So many positives overall but highlights were the cleanliness, the well-stocked kitchen, proximity to shops and the beaches, and the comfort of furnishings. The positives were in addition to the amazing view and overall beauty of the greater property! It was above and beyond expectations as we had everything we could have ever needed and more! My only item I would add is to include a map location of the unit for the arrival instructions as GPS took a few tries to find at night. We can’t wait to plan a trip back and stay at this unit again!

Amazing stay, amazing location!

Wailea Ekolu 102 was exactly as described and was perfect for our stay in Maui! We loved that it was close everything - the beach (we like Ulua) - restaurants in Kihei - the pool - and it was easy to get around. The beach chairs and umbrella were a great addition and must-have when visiting the beach! The views also could not be beat! We highly recommend staying here!
