The Ekahi complex is beautiful, well maintained, gorgeous landscaping and the large pavillon area was great for meals. We were there during the major rain storm in March which created some unusual problems. The condo flooded our first day, Simone was very responsive, immediately came over when I called her. She was able to move us to another unit for two days while our unit was cleaned. She continued to check on us throughout our stay. Kudos to her, not an easy situation.The unit itself was clean, nice location with a very lovely lanai with an ocean view. It could use an update though, kitchen and bath were functional but very dated. Not really a deterrant, but something to be aware of.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Maui, with the condo a major contributor to our experience. It very much lived up to its positive reviews. We spent much time on the lovely lanai with its privacy, great views, beautiful sunsets, enjoying dinners cooked at the nearby grill station. The condo interior was attractive, spacious, with good natural light, a comfortable bed and a well organized and supplied kitchen (the view from kitchen sink a big plus). The Ekahi Village location can’t be beat with its lovely walking beach and terrific snorkeling around its natural lava rock jetties. We also liked the easy access to the pedestrian-only Wailea Beach Path, which starts at Mokapu Beach (10 min beach walk south), providing access to the large hotels with their restaurants and bars. Last, property manager Simone was terrific. After returning from snorkeling and finding her cleaning the condo, we realized..with horror..we’d mistakenly booked our departure date one day sooner than intended. She graciously allowed us to quickly shower, pack up and leave, and even tried finding alternate lodging for our last night. All ended well and we loved the chance to return!

Great unit, and great host! Excellent communication and check-in/out process. We are long time Wailea visitors who have been visiting 1-2x per year for last 30 years and have stayed almost everywhere, including the various 4 and 5 star hotels along wailea as well as various vrbo rental units. Ekahi is a nice condo property with direct beach access and multiple pools built in the 70’s. The unit itself is well kept and clean and has a very nice ocean view from its Lanai ground level patio. Simone was a very nice host. While finishes and trim a bit outdated, this rental is a GREAT value for the area and the host was terrific! Note that the location is better than shown on map 
 at time of our booking the vrbo map listing suggested location was across Okolani further from water but unit itself is firmly in Ekahi grounds between Okolani Dr and the ocean. Pools and beach access all close and easy short walk. Highly recommend, great value.

Overall, an excellent condo that has lots of room, excellent view of the ocean, very close to the beach and pool, and also close to many restaurants and shops. Condo has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable living room and lots of beach accessories. This is a nice condo located in a great community. Loved the lanai that overlooked the ocean. The only thing that wasn’t a 5/5, was the bed. It was comfortable, but rather small for two people.

Pampered in Paradise

This was a magnificent condo, appointed with everything I needed for my stay. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the beach and Pavillion. The sunset from the lanai was simply breathtaking! Thank you for sharing your beautiful island home. I'll definitely be back!

A great home away from home

This was our second time staying in this unit, and we love it. We love the Ekahi property -- the pool, the beach (Keawakapu), the grounds, everything. The unit is nicely done, and very comfortable. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Wailea vacation spot

We enjoyed a week in this pretty, spacious, well-appointed and well-stocked unit. It contained everything we needed for our stay, including the water and sports equipment. The unit is beautifully maintained, as is the community. The pool is delightful and the community pavilion with frig, grills, shower and bath was lovely. Easy access to a nice beach. Would return again if ever in Hawail.

The condo is very nice. Some upgrades have been done but kitchen frig/cabinets, bathroom, washer/dryer areas appear to be original. The flooring and furniture was upgraded and lovely. We were concerned since there wasn’t any really hot water in the kitchen although the shower & bathroom had hot water. The kitchen water was warm after running for a long time. (We left a note about this in the condo when we left). We enjoyed our stay with the great location and ocean view. We are returning next year.

Great unit at Ekahi Village

We had a fantastic stay at Ekahi Village. The unit is about 3 minutes walk to the pool and beach and has a beautiful view of the water. The property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The beds and bedding were very comfortable - even the pull out. Everything in the unit was clean and well maintained. Ekahi is a well situated property and has one of the nicest beaches in Wailea. The reef off the beach was an unexpected surprise and we saw many fish and sea creatures. Thanks for the memorable stay!
