We had a wonderful time at the Mana Kai! The building, unit view and snorkeling are incredible - all exactly as pictured. The amenities were so convenient and I would love to go back again when the restaurant is done being renovated! We had a lovely time and would 10/10 recommend staying here. We did run into some minor issues with the unit that were really not a big deal for us, but I thought were worth mentioning so the issues can be addressed:- 8 on keypad lock to main unit with kitchen doesn’t work reliably and is needed to put in the current unit code- Oven doesn’t work properly - we got it to bake eventually but refused to broil- Water filter on fridge needs to be replaced and beeps at you when you use it- Living room fan light doesn’t turn on and fan cannot be adjusted from high- Master bath sink drains verrry slowly

Exceeding Expectations!!!

The property is as advertised. Best view, excellent condition of property and the building in general was pleasant to stay in. Mana Kai has everything you would need - equipment rentals, general store and the location is perfect. A plus is the excellent snorkeling literally steps away.

Love Mana Kai!

This is our 4th time staying at the Mana Kai and we love it! The condo was exactly as described and has the best view in the building. Since it is the condo closest to the ocean, the second bedroom has an unobstructed view of the ocean (no walkway). The décor was lovely and updated. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Hope to see you soon.

Fantastic choice

The best view I’ve ever picked on a hotel or VRBO. Both rooms had ocean views. Quiet and comfortable. Better than expected was the response our entire group felt. Looking to book again in the future.

The owner has done a remarkable renovation with incredibly modern detailing. Has to be seen to be appreciated. One small appliance issue was dealt with immediately with response from owner and on island maintenance. Will request this unit again if available.

We love the Mana Kai. This is our 3rd time staying. Swam with turtles off the beach and saw lots of whales from our balcony. Beautiful place to stay!

Amazing View!

Loved the condo, view and location. Would go back and stay here again. You cannot beat the view of the ocean and beach off the lanai and you also have an amazing view walking the corridor to your room. I loved how the second room felt secluded to give my teenagers privacy. Also, the ability to make two twin beds in their room was wonderful! Condo had everything we needed. The snorkeling on the beach below was great! We saw several sea turtles, tropical fish, and eels. We traveled to other beaches to snorkel as well, but found the reef at our condo provided plenty to see!

great view; small drawbacks

Spent 4 nites here in October renting both bedrooms. You can't tell from the pictures but each bedroom has its own bathroom with the larger bedroom having a connected kitchen in what amounts to a large studio. The two bedroom are connected by a short hallway. The big bedroom has a wonderful view of Keawakapu Beach. We spent lots of time on the lanai ogling the views of Wailea and Molokini. There's a nice pool and grassy area with lawn furniture fronting the beach though with little shade. A couple of gas barbeques are also on site, though they're a bit far from the beach so we didn't use them. There's a small store on site as well as a vacant restaurant. One drawback is that the windows in the unit were drafty and a bit old. This wouldn't make a difference except that when the trade winds come up in the evening, and they come up often here, the windows rattle a lot, which can bother light sleepers. Also, the unit is a bit noisy as we could hear our neighbors on their lanai or in their rooms. It wasn't too loud, but we're used to quieter properties. The property management company was pretty good, with good communication and even letting us know that we could check in several hours early without charge.

Mana Kai 701 was amazing.

The views from the condo are absolutely stunning. The beach is steps off the property and it’s quite a large beach. You can walk it, swim, snorkel and boggie board. The only thing I would say is that as we are out of State guests we would have liked more beach towels to be available.

As expected. Bed is comfy. Water pressure not great but good enough. Water gets in the floor from the shower which is a bit annoying bc no bath mat. Kitchen well stocked and the view is the best part. We enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with the tv remote not working and they promptly got us a new one.

Maui condo

This is a lovely condo in a very good location. We enjoyed the pool and beach. The balcony was a great spot to watch water sports of all kinds at the beach. There is good grocery shopping and restaurants nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Kihei waterfront condo

Stayed at this property with my son and his wife. It was wonderful, very comfortable, well equipped, balcony overlooking the beautiful beach which was fabulous, close to great restaurants, easy access, car spot. Loved staying here, and would definitely stay again when I return to Maui.

Great condo with great beach access!

Our family of 3 stayed at the condo for a week. It had everything we needed while we were there, including a well equipped kitchen. We loved the grass lawn steps away from the beach. Beach was great for snorkeling and boogie boarding. Would recommend and plan to stay again.

Mana Kai room 701 was perfection!

Our first time staying at Mana Kai and I can't wait to return! We were a family of four with two teen sons 16 and 14. The unit worked perfect with the lock off bedroom and bathroom providing the boys their own space. The unit was spotless and it has a million dollar view. The property fronts a spectacular beach and I spent hours snorkeling at the reef right out. The on-site restaurant and general store were closed due to a change in ownership, but that didn't hamper our resort experience at all. Mana Kai is centrally located and a short drive or mile long walk to great shops and restaurants. I can't wait to return! Mahalo! Mahalo! Mahalo!

Maui County Kihea

This was our first time in Kihea area of Maui. The condo was a nice size, it was clean and well stocked. The second bedroom was very noisy with the wind rattling the windows constantly. We were a little disappointed with the view since we could not see the sunset from our balcony. Upstairs guests activity can also be heard quite easily as well. Owner tried to get the dishwasher fixed prior to our arrival but that was not able to happen, as with much of Hawaii currently, it takes patience to receive many services. The restaurant in the building and the store were closing for construction so it had staffing issues as well and we couldn't access without advance planning. The beaches were beautiful, child friendly waves and very busy.

Excellent stay

The condo was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Beds were great, kitchen was well equipped - perfect for our stay! The refrigerator does say the water filter needs to be replaced and one of the 3 fans did not turn on but other than that it was absolutely perfect. Great ocean view, steps to a beautiful beach and a good size pool. We would not hesitate to return to this property again!

Outstanding Condo at Mana Kai

Best condo at Mana Kai we've ever rented and we've been here over 10 times. It's clearly totally renovated with beautiful new floor, cabinets and furnishings. Super nice and comfortable. The views from both the front and back units are incredible.
