Perfect Kihei Condo

This condo was so perfect for our quick stay in Maui. The location is central to everything. The view from the lanai is amazing! The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need. We would definitely come back!

A wonderful place to stay.

This condo is on the 2nd floor and the view is picture perfect. We have stayed at Sugar Beach before and knew it was the place for us again. It is centrally located on the island and has plenty of shops, grocery stores and restaurants a few minutes south of the condo. The condo was updated, spacious and most importantly air conditioned. The kitchen contained everything you might need to prepare a quick meal. I saw beach chairs, snorkel gear and other equipment to use. The parking lot fills up at night but we never had an issue with a parking spot. The pool and large hot tub are also a bonus, as is the easy access to a perfect beach, worthy of the name Sugar Beach. Communication with Vacasa, the owner's booking agent was easy and they responded in quick fashion to several issues that arose. It does show rental wear, what condo doesn't? I would stay here again.

Great condo with centralized access to many Maui locations.

The condo is exactly as stated on the listing. The condo was up-to-date. It was clean and most importantly it was accessible to many areas in Maui very easily. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly look to staying here again. Should we ever venture back to Maui.

Thanksgiving Holiday

We decided to spend Thanksgiving in Hawaii this year. We chose Sugar Beach 230 and we are sure glad we did. The condo was very clean and updated and offered breathtaking views of the ocean from our balcony. There is beach access which we laid out at the beach for two days but the water was a little rough for swimming. Overll great experience and we would stay again.

Don’t book a Vacasa managed property

On day 2 of our stay we came back to a note saying we couldn’t enter our unit for an hour because an exterminator had sprayed INSIDE the unit. We had zero warning, no notification, no communication and absolutely did not give permission to enter, let alone have a random third party have full access to our belongings. When we contacted Vacasa they were dismissive. The first contact via the app was an embarrassing bot message saying “ sorry, hope we get another chance to impress you”. The first live person we spoke with, Tammy, spoke over me and interrupted me several times. The manager, Janalyn, did apologize but had no idea they were spraying and had no information about the chemicals being used or why we weren’t informed. We had open food on the kitchen counter, our suitcases were open and against the walls (where we were told they sprayed). I have allergies & asthma so there was a real concern about what was sprayed. We were told the info was posted on the resort bulletin board and it was our responsibility to know this. I have a photo of the bulletin board (taken at check in to recall the event info) and the flyer isn’t posted. It was more than 16 hours before Vacasa could provide the pesticide name. Their reconciliation was $98 credit for the groceries I had to toss. Totally unacceptable. Ruined the start of our vacation because we had to go shopping again and so loads of laundry. I will be telling anyone who listens to never book through Vacasa.

Paradise!!!!

Amazing place! Unobstructed view of Sugar Beach from lanai - literally feet from the ocean. Fall asleep to gentle sound of waves. Super clean and comfortable. All the amenities - super comfortable bed and great shower and everything you might want in the kitchen. High quality furniture and you can tell it’s a place that is cared for. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!!!

Great View. What Else do You Need?

We spend a lot of time just sitting on the lanai watching for whales and watching other peoples children play on the lawn and in the ocean. A great view. The condo is comfortable and well equipped, though the pots and pans could use a little updating. This is a great place for families, with a relatively gentle beach, a lawn and a pool. We went to the volcano park - spectacular - and to the Kula Gardens and Sacred Gardens, both enjoyable in their very different ways.

Perfection in Paradise

My husband and I tacked a few extra days onto a previously scheduled trip and found this great rental. Right on the beach, great beach access, NOT crowded at all. Been to Maui three times and this is my favorite spot so far.

The design of the rooms are great. This year we had a 3rd person with us. We weren't sure how it would go with my sister along and only 1 bedroom and the sleeper sofa. It worked out great! Everyone was happy and surprised how easy it was. This was mostly in part due to the design of the condo. The location of the property makes it very easy to get around the island since you are located in the middle.

Great Location!

The place was fantastic with a uncrowded section on the beach. Plenty of room for a family. The only concern we had was the place said you must have a parking decal in the window of your car and we never saw or received one, but nothing ever happened with our vehicle. Great place to stay!

Great location, spacious and updated condo

The condo is right on the beach, close to everything, and is a perfect amount of space for a couple. Nicely updated and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The only minor disappointment was that some basic supplies were missing, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, sufficient amounts of toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. On balance though, we would definitely stay there again.
