Are you looking for a quiet peaceful alternative vacation experience away from the hotel zone but minutes away from South Maui's best beaches, restaurants, shopping and golf ?

Then experience Maui Ocean Palms, which is a half acre tropical vacation property with a beautiful island style home with all of the modern amenities, designed by renowned architect Hans Riecke, breathtaking panoramic ocean and islands views, and a large private swimming pool.

The large (1500 sq. ft.) guest upper floor has a spacious living/dining area with 16' ceilings, beautiful mahogany and leather furniture, and a 65" 4k HD LED TV w/ Netflix. There are two bedrooms with full ocean views, w/ 43" 4K LED TVs, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with an ocean view and new appliances, a laundry room and a very large lanai seating and dining area (balcony/deck) with a fabulous panoramic ocean view. This gated access home is air conditioned (very quiet Mitsubishi 3 zone mini-split system) but you likely won't need it! The Mountain, Haleakala, looms behind this beautiful property, and cool breezes descend from the mountain at night.

The 2 bedroom / bathroom combinations are at opposite ends of the home for quiet time separation.

Open beam ceilings, travertine, redwood, mahogany, granite, and marble are throughout.

The ocean/islands view is amazing and overlooks lush tropical vegetation and the Southwest Shoreline - specifically The Four Seasons Resort and Grand Wailea Hotels, and beyond to Molokini and Kahoolawe.

The secluded lower yard has a large private deep at one end swimming pool, lawn area, BBQ and dining area and a peaceful well kept fish pond with a running stream.

The property is lush and tropical with mature flowering vegetation on all sides. At the front of the home there are two enchanting waterfalls as you approach the entry area.

The best beaches on Maui are within several minutes drive down the hill. If you enjoy walking... the hillside where this home is located is a secluded neighborhood... all properties are half an acre minimum and spread apart.

Area attractions within minutes include Golf, world class Restaurants, the Shops at Wailea, Spas, Luaus, the beach-path, water-sports and the best of Maui sightseeing.

Full laundry room, and complimentary 5Ghz mesh WIFI in all areas.

Awesome spot!

This is an outstanding property. Close to best in beaches, shopping, dining… pretty much anything you want to do. Yet just five minutes away to peace and tranquility. View is awesome… we could not have asked for a better set up. Dave and Connie are perfect hosts. If we are fortunate enough to visit again, this is definitely our choice.

Perfect vacation

My husband and I stayed in Kihei with our two teenage children at this beautiful home. The house was beautiful and well appointed with all the comforts and amenities of both a home and a resort. Our hosts were helpful and very friendly, answering questions, giving recommendations and making us feel incredibly welcome. We had no complaints about anything.

Everything we hoped for

We had high expectations for this property and it did not disappoint. Located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of native plants and a killer view made this a relaxing vacation. The private pool was great and the house was well stocked with everything we needed, including pool floats, beach chairs, beach towels, and more. We were close to beaches, shops, restaurants and more. We preferred staying in the Kihei area rather than Ka’anapali, which is much busier and touristy. Only one suggestion: the bedrooms need new/different pillows. The ones in the house are really soft and mushy. We prefer firmer pillows.

Stunning views in prime location

The house did not disappoint. Stunning views from the time you enter the property. Lots of natural light. House has been updated nicely. The lenai overlooking the pool is the focal point and highlight of the home. Located in Wailea, fine dine and world class golf courses are minutes away. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible. The hosts Dave and Connie were great and gave us a heads up about the fireworks display visible from the lenai on the 4th og July. It was fabulous. Highly recommend this home for a fantastic stay in Maui

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOME WAS WONDERFUL...THE VIEW IS AMAZING AND WE JUST SAT FOR HOURS AND WATCHED IT'S BEAUTY. KITCHEN WAS WELL STOCKED AND MADE COOKING EASY. ENJOYING THE POOL WAS FANTASTIC. THE HOME, EVEN ON THE HILL, WAS CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING. EVERYTHING WAS SPOTLESS AND THE HOME WAS WELL STOCKED TO MAKE OUR STAY ENJOYABLE. Wonderful Owners

Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay here as our trip was cancelled due to the wildfires. We would have stayed if our flights were not cancelled by the airlines. We were in constant contact with the owners before, during and after the wildfires. The communication with the owners was wonderful and greatly appreciated. Sometimes you hate to share how wonderful something was because then everyone finds out about it :) The property was amazing and exactly as pictured. The owners and Robert were amazing to work with! Everything was clean, comfortable and in proper working order. They have put a lot of thought into above average offerings.. beach chairs, beach umbrella, toys, cooler and even ice packs for the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, new flooring and paint etc. You can tell they are constantly making upgrades to their beautiful property. This is our 3rd trip to Maui and now we have a home away from home when we go back again. Thank you for offering your home, it was a real highlight of our vacation!

Wonderful stay

My family of 4 just had a wonderful stay. The view was incredible. We loved spending time on the lanai, and time in the pool was a great way to wrap up the afternoon. The house was so comfortable for two adults and two teen boys. My teens didn't want to share the queen bed, so they took turns sleeping on the bed and an air mattress. The house was stocked with almost all things one would need. I appreciated having access to the cleaning supplies and the vacuum. Not that we wanted to do house cleaning, however, a house can get a bit grimey when 2 adults and 2 almost adults are in it for 10 days and it was great to have plentiful supplies. Kitchen supplies were vast, along with a variety of spices. There was laundry soap/dryer sheets, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, and lots of towels for both bathing and the pool. There were several pool floaties and noodles, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a large cooler for renter's use. Previous renters had left bottles of sunscreen and aloe, as well as, snorkels. A highlight of the house was the caretaker, Robert, who was a delight to meet. His bright and cheerful demeanor was appreciated, and he was always available to help with anything. The house is close to all south end activities/beaches, and was an amazing place for a homebase! We would love to return someday!
