This home is very clean, organized and beautifully decorated. The small apartment on the first floor was great for our daughter and husband to have privacy. They just walked upstairs to talk to us, or for us to share a meal. However, it had limited cooking and eating utensils. We had to hand wash them between meals, because there were not enough to run the dishwasher. The curtain rod in the shower fell off, almost hitting me in the head. My husband was able to put it back up. An upholstered chair my husband was sitting on collapsed. I tried to call the owner Thursday and Friday. I didn't get anyone Thursday, I left a message Friday. We left Saturday.Why didn't I call before? Several reasons, I was giving the water time to heat-I thought maybe no one had stayed the week before. I also had been very sick and was trying to enjoy my vacation. The shower rod falling and the chair collapsing didn't happen until later in the week. Towels were also thin, I felt that they should be replaced.An apologetic agent called me the following week, but the only thing she said was that she called the people who were there the week before or after, and they had hot water.I wish she had called us too, during our stay.

Book It Now!

We were so blown away by this house! We have never stayed in a Vrbo before and were a little nervous to try one. The hosts made it an extremely stress free experience. We were able to get in easily and were so impressed by how clean it was. Simple clean up instructions and overall just a great house and great location. It’s close to so many things we wanted to do. If you’re thinking about staying here I’d say just book it already. You won’t be disappointed.

Family Memorial Weekend

My husband, sisters and their husbands spent the weekend at this lovely property. We got together to share memories of our parents who have passed away. The location of the property was perfect for our needs as we rented a pontoon boat for a little memorial service that we held and we enjoyed several good meals just minutes away from the house. The house was well appointed and clean as a whistle. There wasn't one thing to complain about! We highly recommend this location and rental. Thanks so much to our hosts for helping us to spend a lovely and special weekend together as a family.

Short family vacation getaway

We had a great stay, it was all ages that stayed and all ages liked it. Location is good, close to a bunch of things to do and places to eat. Liked that they had beach chairs because we forgot ours so that was nice and the outdoor shower was nice to have. I think the only thing that we wish we would have brought was bikes to get around close to the house. We recommend bringing bikes. Other than that it was a great family getaway for all ages.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house has easy access to the main highway and is in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off everything. Would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful house and it’s located in an amazing neighborhood.House is very clean & decorated beautifully.very close to beautiful beaches and other attractions.we get to watch sunset everyday and close to groceries & restaurants.our family had a great time and we will definitely come back here if we plan for Outerbanks in future.

Short OBX Vacation

We did not have an entire week for vacation this year. We usually go to Frisco but did not want to travel that far. This was the perfect location to visit Manteo, drive on the beach in South Nags Head, SUP in the sound, take long walks, and have lots of restaurants/shops close by. My husband and I took my 16 yo daughter and friend. They had a great time. More than enough space, clean house, easy check-in. Would rent again for sure.

Amazing OBX property!

We cannot say enough about our stay at Shore Ting! The house was perfect for our family of 5 with plenty of room, beds, and amenities. The house has the perfect beachy decor, it was clean, and had everything we needed to make meals during our stay. Kelli was a great host, always responsive, and checked in with us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for what we did while we were there, the neighborhood was quiet, parking was ample, and the deck was perfect for morning coffee. Having two washer/dryers was a plus for keeping up on laundry. The other plus was the two living spaces, one up and one down so our kids could have their own space too. It was hard to leave, but we can’t wait to plan another trip next year and will definitely be back to this property!
