Unsure of how to feel.
My family and i stayed in this exact unit almost exactly 2 years ago and has been one ive been waiting to come back to for a short getaway. The first time we stayed here was amazing. The property was clean and seemed well maintained. Had no issues with check in and everything worked. It was almost the exact opposite of our experience this time.I showed up about 15 minutes after our scheduled check in. The cleaners were still in the unit and said i should have received a call saying check in had moved to 5 though i had received zero calls, emails, or texts. Checking recent reviews this seems to be somewhat normal which is disappointing. One of the bedrooms had a broken window which seemed to be news to vacasa and / or the property manager. The unit had stray nails around which is jot safe for anyone let alone having kids and a baby with us. Blinds in the room were half put together. The oven odly took forever to reach its temperature and even when it said it had oreheated it was still cold. I will say the communication was very good when i reported all of this but it was really sad to see. Idk if they have the same cleaners for that unit every time though they might need additional help. There was also an old pot of oil left in the oven. I know this all seems small and nit picky but when a third of the bill is for cleaning fees i would expect for the unit to be properly taken care of and it simply wasn't. Im not sure at this time that i could recommend this to anyone.
