Let me first say that the pictures provided do the house some justice but seeing the property in person truly allows the quest to see how beautiful the home actually is. When my guest and I entered the home we were mesmerized by the layout and the fact that each room has its own separate gems inside which makes it hard to choose which room you actually wanted to occupy. I chose the room with the shower outside which was a wonderful choice! Taking a shower with nature surrounding me gave my spirit a sense of peace and comfort! The house is also equipped with many items that were needed during the stay! On my second day in St. Croix I went to the beach and while in the water stepped on a stone that had sea urchins on it. Needless to say I got one of the spines from the organism in my foot and thankfully was able to receive aide and help from the hosts which one was a medical professional who successfully removed it from my foot! Thank goodness for that because the spines can be poisonous and I did not want to take a trip to the hospital whole on vacation! The house was truly the highlight of the trip and the evenings spent on the patio/deck congregating with my family brought laughter, love and joy to my heart! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property with me and my family!!!

Mountain tranquility

We had a wonderful visit to Estate River. This large home had much space for our family group of 11 which included children. We liked the central location which is 10 minutes to Cane Bay and Carambola and 20 minutes to Fredriksted. Estate River is private and quiet. The property manager was very responsive and provided everything for which we asked.

Carambola is the place to stay!

This house and location was excellent for my family's stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this VRBO. My family which included 4 grandchildren loved the large open house to play and celebrate the 4 yr old's birthday. We came to send their grandfathers ashes into the sea where he used to body surf!!

St. Croix for the Holidays l

Our family group of six LOVED our stay at the Carambola Villa! We had lots of space and enjoyed the outdoor area and pool. The house was fully stocked and the owners were easily the best we have ever worked with. Jared gave us so many tips before and during the trip, set up a Christmas tree for our family, and even took some family pictures with amazing views in the background. It was wonderful to be located centrally on the island so we could easily explore the whole island. Our highlights of the trip were visiting so many of the amazing beaches, boat trip to Buck Island with Big Beard, bioluminescent bay kayaking, hiking up to Hams Bluff Lighthouse, and eating at lots of delicious restaurants. We felt so happy and safe returning to the Carambola Villa each day! It was a great trip and I would definitely recommend this house to others and hope to be back soon!

Paradise has a home

We had a a large group of 12 that stayed at the property. The hosts were fantastic providing beach towels and a cooler for us to use during our stay. The home itself was one of the highlights for our kids who loved the spacious rooms and fantastic grounds. During our 8 days stay they twice wanted time to stay home and enjoy the luxurious home! Hosts went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure our stay was fantasic. While the property does require a vehicle to fully enjoy the island it was wonderful to come home each night to peace and safety. Highly recommmend as a great way to ensure your St. Croix experience is amazing.

Beautiful house and property!

My family and I had a great time. We loved the home and the surroundings. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had an event there which comfortably accommodated over 50 guests. Everyone had a great time and mentioned how beautiful the home and surroundings were. The patio is large! The hill views are outstanding and calming. The location is exactly what we wanted. There wasn’t an ocean view from the house but the hills views more than made up for it. The property manager is awesome. She went above and beyond to assist us in setting up for the event. My family and I would highly recommend staying here.

Christmas in St Croix

The manager, Nike, was so pleasant and helpful to work with. She gave us great tips on restaurants and things to do in the area and, being the head chef at a local restaurant, she also prepared a wonderful breakfast for us one morning and an absolutely amazing and delicious dinner for our family on Christmas. The home is spacious and comfortable and almost everything we needed to get to was within 20 minutes.

Awesome Home

My Wife and I visited recently with our four adult daughters and the home was great. The large home is well laid out and very comfortable. We often cook as a family and there is plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks. We had never been to St Croix before and we are always concerned about safety when visiting the Caribbean but Alex's home is in a great location in a gated community and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. The home is in great location to explore the Island during the day and come home to your own private retreat at night. We explored many beaches on the island but our favorite was at the Carambola beach resort that was included in our stay. We did have a issue with a newer Refrigerator on Easter Sunday and the property manager had a replacement unit available the very next day. Problems are always going to arise but it is how they are handled that counts and they did a wonderful job. Also we really loved St Croix and we are already planning a return trip.
