Our group has been going on retreats once a year for more than ten years, and we've experienced a wide range of properties. Many of these properties looked great in the listings but didn't quite live up to expectations once we arrived. We've encountered all sorts of minor issues, from loud A/C units and noisy surroundings to shaky beds and awkward layouts. However, The High Life was a fantastic exception. It lived up to the listings in every way and exceeded our expectations. This was the first time that all four families, including the kids, were completely satisfied â which, trust me, is no easy feat! The convenience of each room having its own bathroom was a huge plus for everyone, and the king-size beds made the stay very comfortable for all the adults. The kids absolutely loved the water slide and pools, while the adults couldn't get enough of the hot tub. With a group of 13 people, it was a pleasant surprise that we all had a seat at the dinner table for the very first time. We also had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our various activities. Although there was an issue with noise from the neighboring property, the host quickly resolved it, which we greatly appreciated. Our only recommendation would be to provide more life jackets. There were only two adult and one kid life jacket provided. Having a few more on hand would offer additional peace of mind.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back.
