We booked an outside room specifically so we wouldnt be hearing all the activities from inside the hotel. We were supposed to have a king size bed, as we booked but were not even asked and put in a room facing the courtyard, where a wedding was taking place. When i said i booked an outside room they said we are very busy and almost booked up. They switched me to an outside room but only a queen bed, im not sure why the website and hotel are not on the same page.

We checked in for a two day stay. Upon entering the room, we checked the tv (this was important as we had a few shows that were important to us to watch) and it wasn’t working. I called the desk (a trainee was working the desk and taking care of us) to report it and was told she’d send someone. No one came before we left for dinner, so I stopped by the desk to report it again and was told she’d send someone. When we returned from dinner, it still was not working. We were not told why either. I called the desk and no one answered, so I went back down to ask for it to be looked at or to be given another room. I was not offered a different room with a working tv, just her claim that someone would look at it. I waited about 1 1/2 hours and went back down to request a refund and to let her know we did not want to stay the second night. She said since it was booked through Expedia, we had to contact them. I did and they were very responsive. They contacted the hotel, but were told it was not their policy to give refunds, but that the tv would be fixed in 30 minutes. It was NEVER fixed. We left early the following morning and my information was given to the person at the desk who was very nice. He said he would give my information to the manager and that he would call me Monday. I never heard from them. It was a very aggravating experience.

The place has extremely long hallways, if you ever saw the movie the shining it’s similar. It’s decorated in a deep brown, which makes it look dated. I got food poisoning at their restaurant, and there was a bug on my bed.

Heated pool was great, as was the availability of a game room. Unfortunately, upon checkin the TV in my room didn't work and I had to be switched to another room..and honestly the cable system here is not great as twice while watching TV the picture either scrambled or went blank. Kind of annoying. And I'm not a big fan of fixed glass shower doors, where you have to reach in and get blasted by cold water to turn the shower on. Bed was comfortable. Getting to my room was complicated as well, I was directed to the back of the hotel and told to enter door 4, which was rather dark, and then I had to walk through a couple different hallways to get to my room. It was a bit weird.

The stay was fine accept that the tv kept freezing up. Hard to fix. The ac was so loud it kept waking us up, & it was not cold even on 64 degrees. The place needs a good painting. The woman at the desk seemed a little clueless.

Hotel Needs Update

No hot water, gaming area was not functioning properly. Desk clerk had issues checking in, claimed their system was antiquated and had issues with credit cards. Pool was not clean. Bed was okay, but old lumpy pillows. Free breakfast was not too good. We ate at diner. Staff were polite but hotel needs to be updated .

It’s okay if you need a place to sleep for one night. The lobby is nice but is a deceptive first impression. As soon as you enter the hallway it gets real sketchy. Smells like weed smoke, everything is out dated, gives ‘people rent these rooms by the hour’ vibe. Would not go back
