The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to everything. The staffs were friendly. Quick and easy check in when arrived. Roof bar and restaurant serve delicious meals choices.

First of all the staff was extremely nice. I was put into a smoking room on arrival. I requested a change of rooms and was given a street view room! I did not sleep well on that room. It was so noisy. Next day I was moved to a quieter room and a little nicer. Breakfast- I just wanted a snack and a coffee. The coffee was very average and small. My toast arrived with such a tiny amount of jam that I could not spread it more than a 1/4 of a toast.

The room was extremely dirty, and the bed linens were filthy. The bathroom was also unclean, and the room was full of mosquitoes. The worst part of my stay was that I did not sleep at all during the one night I was there because loud music played until 4:44 a.m. This was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I had a comfortable and well appointed bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, unfortunately it was at the front of the property and the traffic noise was abysmal , especially when the political supportrs were passing, the room shook. I made it bearable personally by removing my hearing aids and wearing ear plugs. I suggested secondary double glazing would make it a bit more bearable.

I did not patronize the bar or restaurant, because of operating time constraints, relative to my schedule. However, I was disappointed in the quality of service rendered, knowing the reputation of the establishment. The house/room cleaning service left little much to be desired. In a ten (10) day stay at this establishment, there were only three visits to the room, of which the linens were changed once. Bath towels were changed twice, and visible soiled face towel and used wash cloth were never changed or replaced. The only thing that was done fairly regularly was the removal of the garbage. Compounding all of this service failures, for days dead cockroaches could be seen in the walkway of the ground floor, just outside of the hotel rooms. I lodged a friendly complaint with the front desk, not with Ms Beth,and was told it would be taken care of, unfortunately, two days later as I was checking out from the hotel, the situation was still the same way. That is a real lapse in effective management. I will only return to this hotel if and when I am assured of improvement in service and cleanliness of the surroundings.
