Summer Vacation

We just stayed for a week. The house was a nice size for our family of 5. The weather wasn’t great so we stayed in a few nights and cooked and the kitchen was easy to cook in. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and pool were nice to have and especially the covered hot tub during the rainy days. I would recommend bringing your own wagon as there is one working one and doesn’t fit too many things so the walk to the beach can get difficult with a lot of people needing a lot of things. We ended up driving to the beach and dropping off the stuff with the kids and one of us driving back and walking back over. The hosts were always available to answer any questions we had which was really nice. All in all it was a great vacation.

Amazing house

We had an amazing time on our vacation. The weather wasn't the best, we had some rainy days durring our stay. We were fortunate enough to have such a nice home to not only relax at but a house that the kids had plenty of things to do. The house was set up with games, and things to watch in the evenings. They had fun in the pool and loved the spacious house. A family of 5 had more than enough room that the kids had their own bedroom and their own bathroom. We spent every night walking the beach, almost every day on the beach and every morning fishing off the dock, with just a short walk. We did spend every day in the pool, and almost every day in the Jacuzzi. For the beach days, I would recommend renting umbrellas and chairs so you don't have to walk those down to the beach. "Just for the beach" was 1/2 the price as other places and they did an amazing job every day setting them up for us. This was an amazing experience and a great place to stay. Everything was so nice for us to use and we felt right at home. The owner was diligent with responding to anything we had questions about and responded in less than a minute. I give this place an A+ rataing and a must go to place to stay. We are already planning our next stay.

We stayed here 7/8-7/12/24. From start to finish we couldn’t be happier. Communication with the host was extremely prompt and friendly. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all the necessities and more. The salt water pool was by far our favorite amenity. The location of the house was perfect, only a short 5-7 minute walk to the beach and the sound. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! Cute boardwalk area within a few miles of the house. The layout of the house allowed for all of us to spread out, and the kids had their own space. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Great Find in Great Location

Fantastic house on the border with Duck. Super close to everything so that we could let the kids roam. House was beautiful, pool and jacuzzi were great. Well-stocked with games (we enjoyed the cornhole!). Great upstairs separation for parents and kids with kitchen on both floors. Would definitely return!

A sound side oasis

What a beautiful, open, and cozy space! My family and I enjoyed hanging out by the pool immensely as well as the short walk to the beach. Super accessible to shops and dining and by far my favorite place I’ve ever stayed while visiting the OBX. Thank you for such a relaxing trip!

Amazing OBX vacation!

Can’t say enough good things about the property and the host Leanne. The house was just like the pictures, but even better. Very modern and spacious for the 7 of us. It was a short walk to town and the beach in Duck. The pool was refreshing, especially after the beach. Leanne’s attention to detail in the house is wonderful and there is pretty much everything you need. She was also extremely repsonsive through the process. I would highly recommend this house if you are planning to vacation in OBX and would love to stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

Lovely home situated on a quiet street less than a 10 minute easy walk to the beach. Freshly remodeled and looks exactly like the pictures. Brand new pool was perfect and hot tub was great. NOTE - rental homes no longer provide pool/beach towels due to having to clean/maintain them I assume. I just wish this was highlighted and bolded in the instructions since this was our first time renting in this area - we would have saved time searching the house for them! LOL

Amazing property and attention to detail!

Days before to arrival to days after departure, the ownership made sure our stay was amazing. The attention to detail (charging stations for phones, tablets, smart watches) to games for the kids, and a very clean property, we will for sure stay here again. The pool and hot-tub were amazing! Steps away from the beach and the provided chairs, wagons, and cooler were a great value add.

My family has been vacationing in OBX for 15 years and this was the absolute nicest, most modern and cleanest house in which we have ever stayed! The location was also fantastic. We will definitely book this property again!

Wonderful stay! We would love to go back again!

A clean, spacious and beautifully decorated home which offered a very comfortable stay for my husband, my three daughters and me. The kitchen was lovely and generously stocked. So many small details that reflected a lot of care for guests. The hot tub was awesome and the outdoor lights were a great touch. We appreciated the beach chairs and multiple TVs with kids. Short distance to the attractions of Duck. We would love to go back!
