Very cute place all was exactly like the pictures showed. A couple of down sides to the place were the urine smell that greeted us at the elevator area and the room being extremely warm. We were very thankful for the air conditioner, which helped cool off the place. Overall very satisfied with our stay.
We spent two nights. Location is fine on the edge of downtown. A few homeless persons were hanging around outside. Parking was off the street but not laid out very well. Positives: Beds were nice. Kitchen was adequate. Bathrooms were clean as was every room. Negatives: Bedroom was hot and could not be cooled without opening a screenless window which then added a security issue. TVs did not have cable, just a Roku. Toilet in one bathroom rocked. Shower in other bathroom had a serious leak from the floor above through the ceiling. When leaking (10 pm until 1 am) it was annoyingly loud. Carpet outside the apartment in hallway at the top of the stairs was dirty looking and stained. There is no view whatsoever out the windows, just other dirty looking windows and a junk filled roof. Air conditioner is only in common room, not bedrooms. Overall, we might stay there again because the kitchen was useful and the beds and bathroom were mostly ok but we would look for other places first.
Loved the little town of Klamath Falls and this cute little apartment in a refurbished hotel called The George. Well appointed with updated bathrooms, bedrooms and decor. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it only has one window unit air conditioner in the main room and it ran all the time! It was hard to watch TV and stay cool at the same time! But I would stay there again for sure!
Quick visit to crater lake and we needed an overnight stay on return trip. This space worked perfectly for 2 adult couples. Might need one more living room chair for visiting. Rooms did need to keep doors open to get cool ac from living room unit. Bath and kitchen well done. Would definitely stay here again.
Only complaint is the entry Into the building was a little confusing. Multiple doors and key pads. Other than that I will definitely be staying here again.
It was fine, neat place, but there are some minor problems being such an old building and all. The doors dont really latch, the building has a vague smell of ancient cigarettes, the windows open to a nonsense courtyard of windows. But it was an interesting experience, clean, and a decent price.
After asking if our rental date could be pushed back one day, no answer was received. We went to get in, hoping no answer meant it was alright, the code given didnât work. Thankfully, the manager answered after a few tries and we got in. The rental had no AC, which was listed. When we opened windows, they were dirty and full of dead bugs. No screens on several of the windows. The beds were comfortable.
