Not every Sonesta is the same

This place is nasty. People are living here. When we came into check in there was someone in the lobby in a bathrobe and calling the front desk clerk by first name. Then had another set of meth heads walk in while we were still trying to get checked in. Big bug running around on the ground. Got up to the room and it smelled like a repossessed home with mold and water damage.

Check-in was easy and quick. The hotel has been refurbished. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the laundry area, so those needing to wash clothes were unable to do so during my weekend stay. The elevator kept us inside for a bit longer than I expected. Thankfully, it opened about 45 seconds later than it should have. The hotel was clean and had a wide selection of television stations (both local and premium) to watch. The hotel is also conveniently located near the interstate and numerous restaurants, gas stations, and eateries. Excellent location!

A really good, quiet location in a car dealership/office building area. The room was clean, but needs a little attention - sporadic dishes in the cabinets, missing towel rails, flaky textured ceiling. Overall, really good hotel.
