Condo and location was everything as expected. Really no surprises. Condo was well appointed, close to everything, clean, and the roosters and traffic noise really didn't bother me. I would stay here again next time on Kauai.

The view from lanai was beautiful- sunrise colors every day! Short walk to Beach House restaurant and gorgeous sunset views. Short drive to Poipu beach to visit turtles and the quaint town of Koloa! Lots of places to eat at or order food!

Quaint Condo with Ocean View

We loved our time in Kaui! This condo had all we needed for the two of us! The grounds were filled with beautiful flowers and plants. We were just a short walk away to see the ocean and the location was a perfect distance to both sides of the island. We enjoyed the birds that came every evening but it was a little challenging with our 5:30 rooster wake up call. The parking was a little challenging too. We had a wonderful experience overall!

Perfect condo with great views

Charming and perfect. I really loved it. There was a big storm with flooding during our stay and though it caused difficulties on the island it was spectacular to watch from the living room. The park next door flooded and it was interesting to see the chickens and egrets adapt to the changing conditions. It was nice to be able to walk to shops and beaches.

Prince Kuhio Condo RULES!

Best location, great rates, good value. Easy location for basing your entire Kaua’i visit. This condo had everything we needed. My only constructive criticism: The towels were very old. Poipu is a world class beach. Be sure to see the Sea Turtles laying on the beach before sunset.

Very nice stay. Property and grounds are well taken care of - many different plants make the property very tropical. Nice sea breeze makes for great sleeping. There were a few times during the day AC would have been nice. Spent 11 days - pool in the afternoon not crowded. Kudos to Donna for keeping the gardens beautiful and to the vacation property management for going above and beyond for our request. Bunches of thanks

They thought of everything!

This place definitely has a quirky layout but its very clean, in an excellent location and has everything you could possibly need. There were mineral sunscreens, nail polish remover and even motion sickness meds, just to name a few. The welcome gifts were a nice touch also. We would definitely stay here again! Great sunsets across the street and don’t leave too early because you will miss the spectacle of the arrival of the parakeets.

Very comfortable condo. No A/C but didn’t need it. Location is great! Ample covered parking. Pool area is absolutely beautiful. Property manager was so very responsive to our couple of minor issues (beach chair and ceiling fan setting). Would definitely stay in this property again.

We had a blast staying at Prince Kuhio 202. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, were within 5 min walking distance to a beach with great snorkeling, and had speedy responses to any questions or concerns while staying here. Worth every penny!

Great little condo! Has all the kitchen essentials! Less than a minute walk to amazing snorkeling spots! Watch the sunrise from your balcony and sunset from the beach! Would definitely return again! Condo also comes equipped chairs and pool/ beach towel so no need to pack your own! Very clean and tidy!

Kauai for 2

This property was conveniently located on the Poipu coast with a spectacular view of the crashing waves, palm trees and local chickens. All the pictures on the website were an exact representation of the property. It was everything we imagined Kauai to be and more.

Simple but had most everything we needed to go to the beach. Nice views from the condo and mostly quiet except for the weddings and bodyboard contest over the weekends. Overall, was a good stay and we would come back!

Great location and view

We generally very much enjoyed our stay in this Poipu condo. It's right across the street from the water and within a 2 minute walk of a great snorkeling spot (Lawai'i Beach) and a 5 minute walk to two sandy beaches (note that there's not a ton of sand at Lawai'i). "Beach House," a nice restaurant with a great sunset is also at Lawai'i. The carpet mentioned in earlier reviews has (thankfully) been replaced by laminate wood flooring. The lack of an AC was initially a concern, but unfounded even in the summer (we visited in July); the trade winds keep it nice and cool. Would have preferred consolidated communication in VRBO rather than via e-mail and phone with at least two different people. In the end, it wasn't perfect, but given the price it was very reasonable and we had a great trip. *Pros:* Great location, nice ocean view, affordable, clean space, beach chairs + umbrellas provided, reliable Internet connection *Cons:* Picking up keys back in Lihue rather than at the unit was a big pain since we didn't initially have a car, multiple communication channels, no kitchen basics like salt/pepper/olive oil, etc, which was odd given how otherwise well-stocked the kitchen was (not a COVID thing; 5 of 6 Hawaii VRBOs we stayed at provided this), furnishings could use some refreshing, tiny TV/cable stopped working (which we didn't really care about, but maybe you will), somewhat limited privacy in the bathroom (the bathroom window opens into a far corner of the living area for air flow)

Fantastic Location

We loved our time at this little condo. If you are looking for some beach time and snorkeling, this is a great spot. It is a 2 minute walk from Lawai Beach. It is cozy but has beach chairs, umbrella and a few kitchen supply items like oil, coffee filters and other cooking essentials available. The floors are updated (we saw other reviews that there was carpet) and while the condo itself could be updated, it was just perfect. It provided an ocean view, looks over a historical site and offered spectacular sunrises. Kauai Vacation Rentals were fantastic, friendly and professional. We would certainly go back to this spot. Central Location, close to restaurants, beaches etc.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights. Here are a list of the pros and cons that we found: PROS: - Central location. close to various beaches, shopping centers and restaurants. - Great snorkeling within 100-200 ft from the condo (bay directly West of the Beachhouse restaurant-- connected), We saw turtles, eels, and many types of fish. - This beach is also great for sunsets--just grab your drink of choice from the condo and walk.. or enjoy appetizers on the lawn at the Beachhouse restaurant -Condo had everything you needed in the kitchen CONS: Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros for us personally. - The carpet in the unit was rather gross. - the couch was very dusty-- I felt as if I was constantly sneezy - it got very HOT and stuffy in the condo(and we went in the winter)--- there was only a fan in the bedroom. would have been nice to have some additional fans throughout the house to help with ventilation. - The photos show adequate lighting in the unit. However, We felt the unit was VERY dark, it was hard to be in the condo due to the heat and poor lighting. The only lighting were with lamps. -The bed was very uncomfortable. It sagged in the center and we could both feel the springs. - The shower completely clogged the last night we were there and my husband tried to use the plunger to unclog it but it only seemed to make it worse. We did not shower the night before our flight home or the morning for that matter. (We know there are after hour numbers we could call but at that point at 10pm it would have been too complicated to try and figure it out) -There was a late night wedding at the Beachhouse restaurant one night (sounded like so much fun!) But since we weren't guests it was really loud and hard to sleep - No need for an alarm clock because the birds woke us up WITHOUT FAIL every morning between 0630 and 0655. Too bad we aren't early morning vacationers! -There was very limited parking in the condo parking lot. There was street parking but at peak times it was really challenging to even find street parking and we had to park quite a way down the road Overall, we would give this condo a 2/5 star rating. we spent our first week in a different VRBO and it was the same price per night, but was a 5/5 star in our eyes. We usually are pretty easy travelers, however the con list was a little extensive on this particular place. With a few fairly inexpensive improvements I think that this place could be great!
