Good communication from host both prior to and during the stay. Nice property. Some expected "starter staples" were missing such as sugar and salt. Great location a few minutes walk from beach. We would definitely recommend this property.

So close to the beach, and an amazing Lanai for coffee and sunrise. Host is very attentive and responsive. There a quirks with parking and no dishwasher, but everything you need is here and we will be back!

The location is great. Close to the beaches and a really welcoming neighborhood. The communication was as good as it gets, and we had so many good times thanks to the preparatory information provided. And that view!

This is a standalone pod/ home. It has been recently renovated with nice amenities. A example- The main bed has a the ability to raise the head area. Kitchen and bathroom redone, but doors are original etc. the unit is a very nice clean space with separate ac units in bedrooms and main space! Kitchen is very well stocked! Picture of view in ad looks fake— but it is not! That is the view of the ocean. Beach is easily walkable. Surrounding is very safe. Lots of beach items you can borrow from complex. Parking is assigned and easy. shared laundry in under the unit. This is not a resort as they state in the ad, but you can’t beat the price for the location. Who needs a pool when you have a beach with turtles! Would stay here again. Please note this is on the sunny side of the island.

A nice place in a nice location

This house was comfortable and clean and ideally located near a few great beaches. The hosts were great, very responsive and provided some kind welcome gifts. The property also had some fun beach gear that can be conveniently borrowed. 10/10 would stay here again.

Overall, the stay was very good. It was my first experience with a VRBO rental, so I didn’t have expectations, nor experience to relate it to. The property was clean, with views and proximity to the beach/amenities as advertised. A few minor issues (one window had minor damage to the frame and a loose nail on a piece of the door jamb, but I didn’t notice until we were cleaning to vacate so there was little opportunity for the repair while still there). I would rent again.

Turtles in Poipu

My favorite location is Poipu. Management very quick to respond with questions. The home needs improvements to not be so basic. No dishwasher and the kitchen was very poorly stocked with pans etc... love the beach an turtles.

Good property, populated area

This is a nice property and the beach gear is great (though note that the gear is shared with multiple properties). Was well equipped but would be nice to have a few extra bath and beach towels (only provided the exact number of towels as guests). View from the lanai was great and there was generally a good breeze in the morning and evening (full sun in the afternoon). Easy, downhill walk to the beach, but note that the walkable beaches get very crowded. There are a couple of places to eat that are within walking distance, but most places are a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay.

The perfect place in Poipu

My family and I had a wonderful time. We loved the veiw from the back porch. It was an amazing place to be. There were so many birds that came right up to us. I say this place is a 6 out of 5 stars. And everything was Perfect!!!🙂😄

Great view

we really enjoyed our stay. The beach was approximately 1 1/2 blocks away. It's a nice walk. One night we went to beach at sunset and saw about 20 turtles come from the ocean to spend the night at the beach.

Perfect rental!

We loved our stay in Poipu! The unit was perfectly located. We walked down to the beach each day, usually with some beach chairs to sit and watch the sunset. We loved the availability of the chairs, boogie boards, other beach necessities. We did a few day activies- both on the north end and west side - and were thankful to be situated right in the middle of both. We loved coming back to the unit after an adventurous long day. The unit had everything you could need and want while on vacation in beautiful Kauai. Thank you so much!!!

Lovely “home base” in Kauai

Close to Poipu beaches, 30 minutes from Lihue airport, great view of the ocean, comfortable beds, nice amenities, a lovely home away from home from which to enjoy Kauai.

Everything you need!

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days! We came to Kauai to get married and to honeymoon. This place was perfect for the 2 of us! Had everything that we needed and a little more! We only had 1 issue, the air conditioner started to leak. We contacted the property manager and it was fixed first thing the next morning! Great communication! We truly had a wonderful stay! Just a couple minutes walk from the beach.

Your communication is wonderful prior to arriving. Directions easy to follow. Property actually better/nicer than we expected. Housekeeping staff is excellent. Location very good as well. Excellent stay. The only thing i would suggest is a small round table and 4 chairs. I think there is room.

Great location!

Located within easy walking distance of a beach plus an ocean view from the balcony. While we didn't use much of the kitchen, it looked well stocked with dishes and appliances. Location worked well to travel to all other areas of the island. Property manager communication was excellent.

Loved it!

This is THE place to be in Kauai. Poipu has so much to offer. It’s safe, convenient, beautiful. This property checked off every mark. It was clean, welcoming, easy to get to, beautiful location with an ocean view. I can’t wait to revisit.
