Om du forventer et 5-stjerners hotell, sÄ er dette ikke det.. Det har tydeligvis en gang vÊrt et praktfullt hotell, men nÄ er det veldig slitent og neglisjert.
Det var ikke spesielt rent og rommet mitt hadde en distinkt og kraftig lukt av fukt (kan ha noe med at mitt rom lÄ pÄ bakkeplan).
Men for denne prisen forventet jeg ikke mye, og er stort sett fornĂžyd med oppholdet!
Innsjekking gikk fint. Personalet var hÞflige. Rommet ble rengjort med nye hÄndklÊr, vann og kaffe hver dag.
Ellers var det fantastisk med direkte tilgang til basseng fra mitt rom.
Vi badade aldrig i poolen för den kÀndes lite oren, men andra badade. Vi Ät heller inte frukost utan Ät istÀllet pÄ nÀrliggande restaurang. Ligger lite avsides. Vi stannade tvÄ nÀtter vilket kÀndes lagom, hade inte velat stanna lÀngre. Okej för mellanlandning innan vi Äkte vidare till Lanta.
As you know I am a very loyal user of Hotels.com. My booking here was done with the same diligence as all other bookings and on the site it seemed perfect, NO far from it. Firstly let me say I did take my complaints up with reception but on two occasions I found people complaining with the manager who did absolutely nothing and left these people in utter despair. To look at this hotel looks beautiful and palacios but itâs a building that has never seen one brush of paint in the last hundred years and is desperate for some kind of renovation. Itâs a dirty building in reception and hallways with extensive dirty floors. My bedroom was the same. The bed linen was tired and old and worn. As for the two odd bath towels they were disgusting, took that complaint to reception to be told itâs all they have. So non of the prestine white cotton beds and towels that I have had in all other hotels. Also the bed linen was never changed in all the five days I was there. It is a very large hotel with five blocks and as I find with any booking they always place you in the furthest room away from reception, yes it happens in most places. I did try to change that with reception on my first night but told there was no other rooms available, I did however insist that the corrected that the following morning which they did. Iâm 73years old with slight disability in both legs. To end this the final blow was the lifts didnât work the whole time I was there. I would have moved the next morning but the
The room was huge, so much space. The bed was comfortable but the bedding and towels really cold be better quality.
The breakfast is worth the 250 baht
They ask for a 2000baht security deposit at check in so be prepared.
In general the hotel needs a major upgrade, some lifts donât work, the lights in the gym and aircon only work sometimes.
The pool area needs so much maintenance, cleaning, painting, disposal of rubbish etc
Considering the hotel is so busy every night Iâm not sure why they arenât investing in its maintenance.
Hallway filthy, no open restaurant, grounds unkempt, staff rude, pools not lit at night, all in disrepair, rags for hand towels, no lamps at bedside in our room, no spa as advertised, main doors stuck but lock loose, mini fridge not cold, long wait for warm shower watet
Rummen skulle vara klara 14 men vi fick tillgÄng runt 20 pÄ kvÀllen. Inga handdukar fanns i nÄt av de tre rummen vi fick. ACn va trasig i den dyrare sviten som inte fixades under de tre dagarna vi va dÀr. En garderob frÄn hallen leder in till toan sÄ du fÄr ingen privacy. Poolen va smutsig och sliten. Personalen va extremt underbemannade dÀr gÀsterna tyvÀrr fÄr lida av deras trÄkiga attityd. Man fÄr inget hej eller intresse heller, vÀldigt stor kontrast mot alla trevliga thailÀndare! Rekommenderar INTE!
We waited over three hours to check in, despite arriving at 6pm. When we were finally given our room, it was dirty and had no towels. There were visible piles of dust on the shelves. We had to ask six times for towels, which eventually arrived two hours later because the hotel had run out.
Breakfast hours are very inconvenient, running only from 8am to 10amâmost hotels start at 7am at the latest. The breakfast itself is extremely limited, consisting of toast and a single egg. Youâre not allowed more than one egg unless you pay extra.
For a resort that claims to be 5-star, this experience was disgraceful. Itâs run more like a hostel in a neglected resort. There are pests everywhere, and the staff are unfriendly. I would not recommend staying here.
Everything was bad. I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. The room was filthy, the staff was rude, and everything felt completely neglected. The pictures online looked nothing like what we got â broken furniture, awful smell, and paper-thin walls that made it impossible to sleep. Even basic amenities were missing or nonfunctional. One of the worst hotel experiences Iâve ever had. Avoid at all costs.
Check-in was late 3:30pm (written 2pm in hotels.com), everyone was complaining in the lobby.
The "king" bed was just 2 small beds shoved together. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The toilet gurggled and clogged everyday. The AC worked but was very loud. The pools were nice because they were quiet because there were very few people staying at the resort, despite it's massive size. It was not worth what we paid. I wouldn't stay here again.
The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The staff were all fantasticâŠalways so friendly and helpful. The hotel has several pools that get cleaned daily. They made up our room and provided water, coffee, creamer and sugar daily. They can also help you rent a scooter, delivered to the hotel. The only thing I could suggest is that they have their fitness room equipment serviced and perhaps add a few more sets of dumbbells.
