Perfect spot for a family

Quiet, awesome spot directly on the beach. Far enough away from conveniences but close enough to not be inconvenient. Great access to trails to run and walk. Would absolutely return.

Great view

It was a great view with easy access to the beach. Comfortable furniture. My only complaint would be the kitchen appliances. The stove really needs replaced. The burners are all crooked and dirty underneath. The microwave is also very old.

Fantastic location

The space was a great size and very nice. The sliding glass door wouldn't slide. It needs lubricant or fixed. Otherwise, great space. We really enjoyed our time there but didn't have enough pillows for the amount of people we told them were staying. We would book here again based on how nice the house is and the location. It was a wonderful stay.

A Great Getaway

The furniture on the balcony was beautiful and comfortable to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The kitchen has all of the cookware and dishes that you need. We all went to the Fort Fisher Aquarium and enjoyed the fact that it was close to the condo. I would be happy to stay again.

Good luck getting in

Could not access stairs to carry in our luggage for 3 hours upon arrival due to vehicles blocking sides of stairs. Called Bryant Real Estate the next morning and they said we should have called a tow truck....unreal.

Mostly good.

Nice quiet location. Really the only negative was the washer:dryer. We specifically chose a place with a washer and dryer however when we arrived it wasn’t hooked up. Contacted management company twice and no one could come out and hook it up. Otherwise, nice stay.

Needs an update

This rental is all about location. The rental itself needs a big update. The kitchen is very dated and drawers are falling out. The guest bathroom has obviously had a leak from above so the paint and plaster is molding and hanging down. It was clean enough, but for the price they are putting the $$ amount based on location and not on the state of the rental. The rental company are not easy to get a hold of in person. I could only get contact via their website online chat or by email. Calls and voice messages went unreturned. They also do not align with VRBO policies even when VRBO contact them to help with a problem.

Great location, just a few minor issues

The good first. The location is in Kure away from some of the crowds which is nice. The unit is right on the beach, no real dune to speak of. The unit is obviously older, but it has been updated for the most part. There is some wear and tear here and there, but not a big deal. The freezer ice maker made tons of ice every day so no need to go buy a bag. You could probably also park 3 cars if you squeezed in. Now the negatives. The bed in the master was listed as a queen but was actually a full. It was also very firm which was unfortunate for us since we prefer soft beds. There were no door locks on the master bedroom or bathroom or the guest bedroom. The only interior door that locked was the guest bath. The AC didn't work well in the guest bedroom but there was a large box fan that helped. This has been reported to the management company so I would expect it to be fixed for future guests. There is no outside shower, just a hose connection. The hose for our unit was old and shriveled shut so we had to use the neighbors hose.All in all it was a good unit. If it weren't for the bed size and door locks, I would overlook everything else since they're minor concerns.

Pictures online at the time we rented in April 2022 were older - looks like owners are doing some updates not yet in the pics (walls & wood trim have been painted, new curtains, new stove & microwave, new dishes pots & pans new furniture in the main bedroom & very nice new pieces on the deck). The kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking gear and there were even some “extras” left behind like trash bags, dish soap, ziplocks & some spices. living room was vey comfy and there is plenty of room for two couples or a small family - and you can’t beat the view or the super easy access to the beach. Few small issues ... there were damp towels in the main bedroom bath ... clearly not even the linen service towels which made me wonder if the cleaning staff missed that room entirely? It looked clean .. but I wiped everything down again myself .. New owners have taken doors off the cabinets on the section between the living space & kitchen and put cute decor in them .. while nice looking it essentially eliminated almost all storage for food items as all other cabinets have dishes in them and there are no shelves in the closets nearby. I moved some stuff around to make do .. but there isn’t a lot of extra room and losing two cabinets for decor makes little sense .. (it makes more sense if you want the “view” opened up to use those open spaces for the new dishes so the cabinets can be used for food) I didn’t go to use it until the evening of our last day (our stay was a mini stay)but the dishwasher didn’t work either .. it cycled through all the lights but no water ever came on. I did report it at checkout though so hopefully it got fixed for the next guest. Overall I would definitely rent this condo again - and would recommend it to others.
