Clean room. perfect if you want a room to yourself while traveling with friends. Having a washing machine was a bonus! We were able to do a load before heading back to Tokyo. Close to the station so it was easy to get to and travel around the city.

I highly recommend this location if you plan to travel around Kyoto heavily. The staff will treat you nicely and will address any questions or concerns. There are nearby konbini for budget travellers as well as the food courts and restaurants by the train station 2 minute walk away. There is also a shop for necessities next to the train station. This hotel managed to get me to travel to 3-4 tourist attraction spots per day. If you want to have a nice relaxing day in the onsen. I highly suggest going in around 3 AM as no one ever uses it during that period. (No free yogurt milk until 5 AM) Laundry is very convenient to use (Free wash) nd you can read manga while your clothes dries. You will receive fresh towels daily from staff so you won't need to worry about reusing it. My only con is that the room was dusty, signs of spots not cleaned properly or maintained, but overall a good experience.
