We recommend staying here. We stayed at the twin bed room. The room was okay sized, a little tight with our luggages and belongings. But other than that, everything else was great. Restroom was clean and spacious. What really elevates this hotel is definitely the amenities accessible to guests only. The onsen (spa) was amazing to enjoy after long days of traveling and basking in the summer heat of Japan. We were also given free matcha, free water bottles, and a fresh set of towels daily. The lobby, cafe, washing machines, vending machines, etc also came in clutch. They also offered free rain umbrellas and sun umbrellas to use. The average distance from the nearest train station is about a 10- 15 minute walk. Not too bad to walk with luggage as well. The surrounding area was very nice and good walking distance from the main streets. It’s also great that they offer to ability to drop off your luggage before check-in occurs. Checkout was very simple.

The room is quite small, it's hard to open the luggage, it's smaller than average room size in Kyoto. The public bath is very small as well. If you drive a car, don't book this hotel, as the parking nearby is super expensive. We pay 4700 yen every night.

Super comfortable and clean experience with the Trinity location. Everything worth checking out was very walkable save a few of the larger temples. The in-house restaurant and bar was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. This place made us never want to leave kyoto!
