We liked the hotel very much. Great breakfast choices with gorgeous view. People were awesome, nice, helpful & friendly. I would recommend this place for our friends for sure. (they do need a long mirror in a room then it would be a perfect 10 for me. There are mirrors in the elevator).

Centrally located property. Clearly as tourist location. Lounge and library for hotel guests. Only issue is the fitness facility didn't have weights - only aerobic equipment

Great location - walkable to hundreds of restaurants in minutes and easily walkable to Gion (maybe 10 mins) and a lot of the main sites around there. 5 mins walk to a metro station. Room was great (we had a cinema room). Bar has a nice view out over the city and lovely ambience. Breakfast was solid and better than most in Japan. Staff also fantastic as well. This was our best hotel stay in Japan. Very relaxing and it helped make Kyoto for us. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
