Beautiful villa with pool and countryside views, 12 minutes from historic Uzes

A short drive from the exquisite, historic town of Uzès, we are in the ancient village of La Capelle-et-Masmolène with its 12th century chateau.
Our house-Le Citronnier-has 3 double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There are two separate toilets.

One of the bedrooms opens directly on to the heated salt-water pool and one bedroom has its own private courtyard.

Facing due south, the house has uninterrupted views past the pool and over the fields from the large, high-ceiling living area..A friendly donkey and horse are in the field!

The house is on one level so good for the less mobile. We have reliable fibre internet and TV.
There is a full-size ping-pong table and boules available.

Towels and sheets are high quality and the kitchen is equipped for the best of cooks.

The house is well insulated - therefore cool in summer and warm in winter. Each room is equipped with a fan (and a radiator ).

There is a village bistrot a short walk away with great food.
Tired of lazing in the sun, there are many well-signposted walks from the village as well as bird watching at the nearby lake.

Nearby activities: kayaking on the River Gardon under the breathtaking Roman aqueduct the Pont du Gard, a treetop adventure park, rock climbing, horseriding, golf.

Uzès itself has wonderful medieval streets and a great Saturday market and so many restaurants. Avignon- with its world famous July theatre festival- is reached in 40 minutes as are Nimes, Arles and Orange with their spectacular Roman amphitheatres.
The nearby village of St Quentin La Poterie has dozens of art and ceramics galleries.
For the beach, the Camargue is just over an hour away by car.
