Had a great stay at this little gem, tucked in this gated lodge has a beautiful pool area. Comes complete with breakfast provided. Check in was friendly and helpful, the gentlemen that checked us in had limited English and us limited Spanish so he reached out and a wonderful lady via cell call got us all sorted. Everyone was so helpful. Room is very clean with AC. Would come stay again for longer next time.

The smell of the cleaner they use was so strong and toxic smelling we were unable to stay. We were offered another room but it smelled the same. Ended up staying somewhere else.

We stayed in a villa and it was excellent. Plenty of space, clean, comfortable bed. The grounds were like paradise. We enjoyed reading and listening to the birds in the hammock area and enjoyed a little swim in the pool. North fields coffee tour is right beside the hotel which was convenient! We had a car which was helpful to get into town. We walked from town once which took maybe 40 minutes. We would stay here again!

The room was basic but the surroundings were surreal. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. One recommendation: more/better face cloths! Besides that, the property is a gem. Loved our time on the hammocks by the pool area. The outdoor breakfast area was lovely as well.

Aunty Arenal was a purrrfect little oasis close to the strip in La Fortuna, but far away enough that it was a quiet little sanctuary. Also centrally located as all the activities I had planned were all in different locations!! (Unknowingly, this was so convenient!) I had an early morning tour and they quickly whipped up a simple but delicious breakfast (rice & beans, delicious plaintain, toast, there was an option of eggs that I opted out on). The room was spacious, clean and exactly what was needed after a day of adventures. Parking was fantastic and close to the room. Everyone was helpful with recommendations! There is also a sweet little kitty on the grounds that came up for a morning visit for some pet pets! Highly recommend as it was a great price point and area was extremely safe

My son (8) and I enjoyed this quiet place very much. Beautiful grounds. Nice breakfast. Not perfect ( internet was sometimes spotty; blinking light in the bathroom; toilet was not always flushing well) but for the price they charge you cannot expect perfection. We valued a very pleasant home-like stay, caring and friendly stuff, quiet nights with birds chirping, and close proximity to restaurants, supermarket and coffee/ chocolate tour. Very clean too. Would stay there again!

Lovely little accommodation just off the main drag of La Fortuna. Quiet, clean, safe. Lovely staff. Parking was right outside the doors to our unit which made unloading/loading our luggage a breeze. Breakfast was very good...perhaps the best I had on our two week trip to Costa Rica. Kids complained that the pool was cold. I would stay again.
