The location of El Secreto was amazing. Very walkable to downtown La Fortuna so plenty of food options. Uber is very active here so it was easy to get around town and to various tours. Breakfast each morning was tasty and they allowed for some substitutions. Plus was that they had AC as well which helped with the hot, humid weather. We enjoyed the pools as well!

I would highly recommend staying here. The entire property and room are very clean! Well maintained flowers & trees that the birds love to hang out in so we get to enjoy watching them. Very good breakfast and the staff were all great!! Close enough to walk most places in La Fortuna. Definitely recommend Restaurante la Familigia for dinner (as recommended by the staff), excellent food and prices are unbelievable. We tried other places that were not great.

Hotel was nice, however room floors were super super slippery, any water and you could slide and seriously hurt yourself. If you’re staying on the bottom level, you can hear the people walking upstairs. Overall good stay.
