This listing was the one we were supposed to stay at, but a couple weeks before we were to arrive, a creek flooded that property during a huge storm. The host thought they would be able to repair it in time but a few days before our arrival they notified us that there was just too much damage. However they were so wonderful and found us another location within their group of homes and it was very nice. It is a super nice home: beautifully appointed and clean it had a pool (but not as nice as the one in this listing). It also had a separate room/bathroom in the back. The home we were at is in town, which was a wonderful to be able to walk around and go to restaurants, bars and shops. It was also very close to most of the adventures we did. The property we stayed at is not listed on VRBO. It is listed on other sites and itâs called La Fortuna Downtown Home. The downside of being in town was that it was very noisy. We were in a neighborhood so people going to work at six in the morning and dogs barking so it wasnât really possible to sleep in. But then most of the time we needed to get up by eight anyway. The other thing was the minisplit air conditioner in the master bedroom either blew very cold air or warm. Maybe we didnât know how to work it, but there were no instructions. Need to buy your own coffee, salt, and laundry soap, but they did have plenty of towels & kitchen stuff. Ultimately we had an awesome time. Love La Fortuna & the people there. Definitely recommend!
