We have stayed at many villas on this sight before but this was the 1st one that had cleaners every day and fresh towels mid week. It is very clean with a very well equipped kitchen. Garden is lovely and sunny with shade areas too, pool is empty with lots of beds. There is a lot of building work going on in the area but did not disturb us.

Really nice spacious property.Easy check-in and check-out. Property cleaned multiple times during our 10 day stay.Limited storage room for food in kitchen but the kitchen itself is very well equiped.Communal pool is very large and huge number of loungers available even in August.

Summer holiday 2025

This is an excellent property nicely situated in the golf resort, close to the club house. The house was very well equipped with mod cons. Sun loungers are provided in the generous garden which has both shady and sunny areas throughout the day. If you're a reader the host has left plenty of books covering a range of genres which we enjoyed. The fantastic swimming pool was a 2 mins walk from the house - its around 25M long and there were always plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. Staying here was a very relaxing experience.The resort is very close to Lagos town centre the service from Uber was excellent with many taxis availalbe with 5 minutes of requesting at a cost of approx. 5 for the trip. Lagos has a broad range of great value restaurants. We played a round at BoaVista which is a challenging course. We also went on a Kayak trip with EZRide Kayaks (Lagos), exploring the caves along the coast - well worth trying. Our daughter went on a horse riding trip with Extreme Tours Carrapateira (about 40 mins drive), it was a pony trek up across the dunes overlooking the coastline - she really enjoyed it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone considering taking a holiday in the area.

Lovely villa in Lagos

Three bedroom villa with large sunny garden. Spotless wiyh regular cleaning during our stay . 10 mins drive from Lagos town and beaches. Peaceful settling on golf course. 3 large bedrooms, 2 en-suite. 200 metres walk to outdoor swimming pool. Spa and indoor pool on site.Highly recommend.

Sleepless nights and electric equipment from the 70's

We fond the property in a terrible state. Mouldy and disgruntled matterasses which we had to disinfect to try and clear the smell. The washing machine died the same day we arrived, we had to wait more than a week for a cheap replacement. The fridge walls are cracked and the condensation of water floods the bottom of the food compartment which we had to sponge out with towels onece or twice a day. The extractor fan bulbs had melted the plastic and wasn't safely usable. The dish washer rubber seal was flaking off constantly. The internet connection was to say the list random and totally insuffucient. The ensuite bedroom on the ground floor has been continously attacked by storms of ants which we had to fight daily. Last but not least the house is situated 10 meters from the rubbish bins. The truck to collect the various items ( plastic, glass, etc ) comes randomly 3 to 4 times a week at hours always included between 3 and 5 am. The noise in unbearable and our nights were interrputed. We cut short by one day our stay and ran away as soon as our obligations to stay had finished in order to recover our beds and our sanity. Worst experience ever. The owner had promised a prompt replacement of the faulty items, but nothing materialised other than the exchange of the washing machine. He delcares he has acquired the property recently and obviously hasn't deemed necessary to put the place in a decent state and used us as guineapigs. Totally unacceptable.

Great spot

We loved the house and garden, boavista is good and safe for families. The heated pool and beach are amazing. Great barbecue also.

Tired and outdated

Day 1. The brick built barbecue was virtually derelict so we used the portable one provided, as a last resort, and halfway through cooking one of the rusty legs broke off and we lost all the food. Luckily the children did not get burned. Day 2.We lost all electric due to a faulty kitchen appliance which was not fixed for 12 hours so we lost a freezer full of food. Day 3. The golf course sprinklers were left on for 24 hours and flooded the garden/patio area so we could not use it. Day 4. The dustbinmen came at 11pm to empty the resorts bins that are adjacent to the villa and spent the next hour til midnight cleaning them out making a helluva racket. On top of all this we had to pay to get in the spa/indoor pool whereas most other owners give you a free pass as they pay for this themselves. We respectfully asked the owner for a £100 refund for the distress and inconvenience but he refuses to do this.
