RETRO VIBE!

This was a very quiet and relaxed place to stay. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING. Very long pool 8 feet deep and fully tiled floor. The jet streams of the hot tub were like a shiatsu massage. The beach is right in front. You go night time swimming. Very calm and peaceful. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

Great location, clean apartment

This room was perfect for our 10 night stay on Maui. The location is perfect, walking distance to most restaurants and bars in Lahaina. There’s a nice beach right outside the hotel in the back. However be aware that cleaning service is not included with this room. The lanai was closed during our trip and the owners of this property were responsive and accommodating.

Perfect location

The condo is easily walkable to any shops or restaurants you would want to go to on front street. The beach is also amazing for watching the sunset. Absolutely would recommend this property to anyone and would stay here again.

Excellent property in a great location.

Very nice location on the beach. The balcony doesn't overlook the water, but you also don't face the afternoon sun. Late afternoon on the shaded balcony looking up at the mountain is quite relaxing. Some reviews mention a facility negative of the building as the lack of any dining or a bar in the building. While there aren't any, there is a bar and grill right next door. Besides, you can easily walk the short distance to everything in old Lahaina including multiple bar/grill restaurants. We found this property to be excellent and highly recommend it. The only caveat with this rental is you must pay an additional fee for parking. We paid $100 for parking for the week.

Perfect Maui getaway spot

We absolutely loved our stay at Lahaina Shores!! The condo was lovely, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff at the resort was friendly, and the property manager reached out to make sure we knew he was accessible. The condo is in the PERFECT location - it’s quiet while still being very walkable in downtown Lahaina, on the beach, with a very nice pool area. Can’t wait to return!!

Perfect Place for Maui Sights

Property was just as described. Check in was quick. Know that you will have to pay for parking ($3.55/day). There is a surface lot out front of the property and a garage just North of the surface lot. If you have a large vehicle, I suggest calling ahead and requesting the surface lot as the garage is low and spots are small. It’s VERY cheap compared to everywhere else or using Uber. Bed was comfortable and the balcony was a nice spot to eat breakfast each morning. Beach next to the property was nice and sunset was great each night. Pool and hot tub are also nice spot to chill each evening. There were beach chairs, and umbrella and boogie boards in the closet. Fridge with ice maker, oven/cooktop, and pots/pans utensils in the kitchen. Lahaina is a quick walk from the property to good restaurants (Paia and Down the Hatch - get the Lava Lava Shrimp cocktail) and tourist shopping. Also, you can walk to the harbor if you book a whale watching or snorkel trip through one of the charters in the Lahaina harbor. My wife and I felt like Lahaina was the perfect place to stay as you have quick access to good beaches (short drive to Ka'anapali/Black Rock beach – park in Whalers Village) a bit longer to the south beaches. If you've never been to Maui, the roads are mostly 2-lane and 35-45mph so just know some destinations are 40-50m away but none of them are traffic, stress filled drives. Just relax and have a good time. We rented Snorkel gear locally and just went off the beaches. Baby Beach behind Safeway has a sunken dock which a local said was a good spot and it is. Water was pretty clear and saw lots of fish and turtles. Just check the ‘snorkel report’ each morning for a good summary of where to go. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back. It was perfect for a couple, and you can make breakfast/lunch/dinner if you don't want to eat out each day. There is a Wal-Mart and Costco next to the airport (someone told me they prepurchase items online and scheduled pick up 30-40m after their plane landed - which is a great idea - no need to shop in a strange store for groceries).

Nice condo in a great location.

This studio condo was perfect for the 2 of us. The property is on the beach at the edge of downtown Lahaina, so an easy walk to town. The unit seemed recently remodeled and is in excellent condition. It faces inland, so we had morning sun on the balcony and enjoyed watching the weather on the mountain. It came equipped with beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The property has a nice pool area on the beach side and a gate on to the beach.

Awesome location!

This was my second time in Maui and Lahaina Shores Resort is my favorite place to stay. The resort is perfect, beach front and it is not crowded at all in comparison to other beaches in Kaanapali or Wailea. The unit was clean and fully equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen and in the water. You will not regret your stay here!

Amazing location

The location was great! Place was beautiful too. Be warned that they charge for a mid stay clean and you’ll need to do the towels yourselves. Another thing that did not please me was the communication was responsive 50% of the time and I had requests that still went unanswered.
