A perfect getaway!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. The hosts were responsive to any questions we had and truly thought of everything
 anything we needed was right where we would expect to find it in our own home. We rented a boat for a few days from one of the marinas, so having the dock was a huge plus as well. I would absolutely visit again. 5 stars!!!

Great place and location. Raised in area good location to relax with family and friends. Nice golf courses near by. Peaceful week. Construction next door on house noisy until 11:00 pm. 1 night. Other than that would definitely stay again. Thanks

Perfect Lake House Getaway!

We had the best week at Lake Wallenpauck - the house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Everything was perfect, clean, beautiful location right on the lake, and the house had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We hope to be back again next year!

Great Relaxing Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay here for our family of 10. Pictures do not do the place justice. Very clean and nicely updated. House was stocked with everything you can think of! All linens, towels, lake towels, kitchen and cooking things, paper towels, garbage bags, Soaps, toilet paper and so much more. Made it nice to not have to run to the store for those things . Access to the lake was great for kayaking, fishing, or just sitting by the water. Kids all enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming with their life jackets. Owner was great and super responsive. If you like a fun relaxing low key vacation, this is for you. Will definitely visit again!

Perfect chalet with amazing lake access

This was such a great property! The lake access was incredible with tons of opportunities for family fun. My children loved using the kayaks to go out and explore the island. We fished right off the deck and used both fire pits. All three floors of the house were great. As someone who appreciates tidiness and organization this may be one of the best rentals I've used. It felt like absolutely everything we might have wanted was right where I guessed it would be. The kitchen had the perfect amount everything without being overly crowded. Even the laundry area was well thought out and organized. We had a great stay and hope to return!

Everything you could think of!

Three days just wasn’t enough. We loved being here. This house was clean, newly renovated and perfect. Anything we forgot to bring, we found in the house. We forgot sugar, there it was. We forgot my 3 yr old grandson’s life jacket, they had one for him. Sitting by the fire pit was so relaxing. We didn’t have a boat, but just relaxing on the dock and playing out in the kayaks was great. The beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Home away from Home

We just returned from our week - it was by far the best, most relaxing trip we have had as a family. The home was perfect - clean, decorated beautifully, kitchen fully stocked, beds were very comfortable, washer/dryer so no laundry to bring home and the views were breath taking. Being on the lake was so peaceful. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks! Only things I missed was I wish they had lounge chairs to lay back and relax and some more seating near the lake since we are a big family it was hard to fit when they were in and out of the lake - but these things didnt ruin our wonderful time. We made everlasting memories. Would definitely return!

Family vacation 2021

The house was perfect for a get together for the family. Claws and paws was close by for the younger children. The kitchen and living room was tastefully decorated. Kids had fun with air hockey and Owner left us a welcome packet which was nice. Beds were comfortable. Two fridgerators made it nice when preparing for a cookout with family. For people who like to spend time on the boat it is great but if you like to kayak in summer months the water gets a little rocky from the waves from them so had to do it late in the evening. Had a little hiccup with a vendor showing up to spray property which was bad for my grandson who has asthma but owner told me she would call them. One board on stairs at bottom of stairs to dock should be replaced other than that we had a good time while we were there.

Peace and Tranquility on the Lake

This was the summer vacation our family was looking for. The moment we walked into this cozy chalet we noticed the beautiful panoramic views. The house was well appointed and clean. Nestled in the woods, the landscaping and view of the lake were inspiring. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was an abundance of towels, pillows, soaps and shampoos. The beds were comfy and the living room couches reclined so you always felt relaxed. Games, videos and an air hockey table made the vacation fun. All the wood you would need was available to create lasting memories around the fire pit while making s'mores! We are grateful to have found this tranquil place that fulfilled all our vacation wishes and we now have many wonderful family memories to last a lifetime.

Great Experience !

Beautiful house, well-equipped, very clean and an all-around great experience! Kiddos love the basement with the air hockey machine and PlayStation. Fire pit was amazing and stacked with wood! Everything taken care of to enjoy a great vacation.

Surprise luxury at the lake

The pictures and description didn’t quite do this place justice. The most well-appointed rental I’ve ever visited, there was diningware for our toddler, everything you could possibly need to cook/bake anything including a fully-stocked spice cabinet, and even s’mores-makers and popcorn pit popper for the outdoor firepit. The kitchen looks recently remodeled with modern appliances, and the water remained hot even after the entire group took our post-lake showers. It was incredibly clean and well-organized, check-in and out was super easy, and the owners were quite helpful and accommodating, even providing bubbles and inflating the kiddie pool ahead of time for our 2 year-old. This was our first visit to Lake Wallenpaupack and we will definitely be back!

The Perfect Lake House

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was perfect for our family, kids and their friends - plenty of room to spread out, equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinners. It is in a quiet/peaceful location with a great lakefront to fish and swim from. Everything was very clean, very new and felt very “homey” and comfortable. I think the owners thought of everything you might need for vacation from board games, a dart board, air hockey, smart tv, kayaks, life jackets, fire pit, gas grill, etc. We absolutely loved our stay and most definitely will be coming back.

Amazing property and luxurious amenities

We highly recommend this gorgeously appointed lake house that exceeded every one of our expectations! Stunning views of the lake, quiet street, seclusion and relaxation!
