Lovely home

The home was very nice! Very clean and nicely kept. We were missing dish soap and hand soap but that wasn’t a big deal. We were able to get some from the local convenience store.

Great for 2 families!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Harmony house during Memorial Day weekend. The location is fantastic, with the club pool just a mile's walk away or a quick 5-minute drive. The host was extremely responsive to all our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. A tip for future guests: bring extra beach or pool towels. The washer and dryer in the house were very helpful. Additionally, having dumpsters conveniently located across the street made cleaning up a breeze. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

fun week away

the property was clean and very nicely decorated with a lovely mix of elegance and rustic. The unit was exactly as described and pictured. We saw lots of deer from the back porch. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Since it was fall we didn't use any amenities at Big Boulder or Lake Harmony. There was plenty of space for 6 adults to enjoy a relaxing week.

Wonderful vacation spot

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The beds were super comfortable; we all slept great while we were here. The master bath was gorgeous. We loved having pickle ball courts so close. It was a great week!

4 stars because of some issues...

Overall we had a nice stay here but there were some issues: 1)We found mice droppings but only in the utensil trays. We only noticed this because we tend to wash all utensils in the dishwasher right away when we arrive and noticed them at the bottom of the trays. Pretty nasty and annoyed especially since we paid a hefty host fee for the cleaning service. :( 2)The hot water was not constant. We noticed this with the kitchen sink in that when we turned on the hot water, it would be hot for about a minute and then would turn freezing cold. It was like this throughout the 2 days we were there, hot then cold then hot then cold. We reported this right away when we got there but was told "Because it's FREEZING. Keep it running, the pipes are affected, and open the cabinet doors underneath for more warm air flow". Sorry but this did not resolve the issue. This has not happened anywhere else so I'd suggest the owner to look into fixing this. We also noticed this when showering in the upstairs bath...not as bad as the kitchen sink but yes, the water would get cold after a bit and then hot again. I totally get that it may take some time for the hot water to kick in but not to go from hot to freezing cold and then to hot and back to cold constantly during our stay. We washed a lot of dishes so experienced this a lot here at this rental. 3)Oven was not working. We traveled with someone with food allergies so had brought food with us that would require the use of an oven. Unfortunately we could not use the oven as it was not working. We notified Amy but given it was Christmas eve, there's not much she would have been able to do for us. Overall, it is a nice place as described on the site and convenient to get to. It was clean aside from what we found in the utensil tray. Wouldn't mind staying here again but would need the host to confirm that the water issue has been fixed as we tend to do our own cooking and cleaning when away due to traveling with food allergies.

a quaint getaway

It was easy renting out this house and Amy was super helpful and responsive, unfortunately we had to move houses due to the heat not working, but that was a smooth transition & Amy was super accommodating! Definitely a beautiful home and location!

Hoosiers in the Poconos

The condo is beautiful, clean, and cozy. It is just as advertised. The deer roamed the backyard and were fun to watch. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby as well as entertainment. We felt relaxed and would certainly return.

Great stay for a family of six!

From booking to check-out, everything was smooth sailing. The unit is amazing, inside and out. Between the Smart TV and the board games, spending a day inside can be made just as fun as enjoying the pool and other Boulder Lake Club amenities (the boat rentals being our favorite). All of the appliances are newer and very well kept, making cooking and cleaning simple and easy. No corners were cut when it came to cleanliness either. The cleaning crew that came through before our stay definitely deserves to be commended. Our host, Amy, was phenomenal. She was super friendly, quick to respond, and very helpful when it came to our questions about the unit and the resort. There is no doubt that we will be be looking to book this place when returning to Big Boulder Lake for one of our next family vacations.

Great condo!

Condo was great
loved our time away! We were able to bring our two dogs, one of which needs daily medication twice a day so having them with us was one less thing to worry about! Loved seeing the deer right off the back patio! Owners were responsive to the few questions we had prior to our arrival ! Would definitely stay here again!

Cleanest VRBO We Have Ever Stayed In!

The property is beautiful - just as cute as the photos! We were all pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was - from the showers to the fridge, it was spotless. Pool was a great addition for families with children and we enjoyed being close to many restaurants.

Nice place

This place was as great as its pictures. Very clean and a good space for 2 adults and 3 kids. The beds and linens were comfortable and of high quality. The home is a middle unit but very quiet. Short drive to the tavern which is where the pool and beach are located. The beach was open for kids to play but you couldn’t swim in the lake at this time. It was a nice quiet vacation.
