We loved staying for a family wedding weekend in Lake Junaluska. The house was beautifully updated with every design detail carefully thought out. The renovated kitchen was fully stocked with anything needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. Our family favorite was the fire pit in the back yard and the view of the lake from the large welcoming front porch. This home is at the top of our list for a family vacation rental and hope to stay again.

This home is beautiful and very thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen is amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. We were there primarily for golf and the area has some great golf courses near it. We also enjoyed walks around the beautiful lake every day.

Beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen and linens, toys for the kids. Plenty of seating areas. Puzzles and games were added fun. The front porch was a highlight. Comfortable seating that is shaded and overlooks the lake. We were in town for a wedding, but would definitely stay here again if we were to return.

This house is beautiful and works perfectly for our large family. The spacious, well-stocked kitchen allows for preparation of family meals and the dining table accommodates all of us for meals, for socializing, and for cards and board games. The porch is deep and wide and allows for yet another space to gather—even if it is raining. The host has paid attention to every detail and is very responsive.

"Let Hope abound" is a remarkable rental property. Everything about it is furnished beautifully, with a top-notch kitchen and top-notch bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend it. Our only difficulties related to the lack of a stair rail in the front of the house And some slippery flagstones in the back due to a lot of rain, but if you don't have older family members with mobility challenges to worry about, you will really appreciate staying here

What a jewel!!! This house has everything needed for a stay at Lake J....the owner has clearly put a lot of thought into what guests need. Great communication, easy check-in/out. The porch provides a great space to sit and enjoy the beautiful lake view while sipping morning coffee or reading a good book!The fully-stocked kitchen is amazing, with up-scale appliances and everything one needs for preparing meals. All bedrooms are tastefully appointed, with extremely comfortable beds. Let Hope Abound was a perfect fit for our family. We've already booked a stay for 2026!

This house is amazing! Not just because of the views and the proximity to the walk around Lake Junaluska, but the inside has been perfectly remodeled. You will not regret staying here. The owners have made sure that you have everything you need so that you don’t have to bring the kitchen sink with you! We will definitely be staying here again. We had seven people here and did not feel like we were on top of one another. Great times and memories made.

Location! Location! Location! - Run, Walk, Pickleball

This was our second stay at Hope Abound for several reasons. The home itself it large, clean and has everything you could possibly need. The location is excellent! Overlooking Lake Junaluska, the views are spectacular and whether you are a walker or a runner, the loop around the lake is awesome! There are several public Pickleball courts available for a pick up game with friendly players looking for a game.

Beautiful place to enjoy Lake Junaluska

The owners of this beautiful renovated home maintained the charm of a home built 100 years ago while giving it an incredible designer look with all modern conveniences throughout every room of the house. The kitchen is amazing and had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large family. We so enjoyed socializing and reading on the deep front porch with a lake view. It was just perfect!

A perfect family get-away!

We so enjoyed our week in this beautiful home! It was just as lovely and elegant and comfortable as it looks in the photos. We made good use of the kitchen and the front porch and the fire pit in the backyard. The beds were so comfy, our grand boys LOVED the kids’ room, and there was plenty of room for our big family! Lake Junaluska was cool in the heat of summer and a great landing spot for day trips out. We walked around the lake nearly every day. Can’t wait to return!

Hope Spectacularly exceeds expectations

We’ve rented various houses in the lake Junaluska area since 1992. Hands-down, this House was the best! It has been totally renovated with all modern appliances. It’s totally clean and fresh. We will only stay here in the future!

Beautiful, relaxing place of respite!

This beautiful home was not only aesthetically pleasing but so incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals, the beds were comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean. The front porch provided such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy God‘s beauty. The hosts were very easy to work with and available immediately with any needs! There is a nice coffee shop and crêpe restaurant right on the property of Lake Junaluska. Waynesville, which is just a few minutes away, has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping! If you download the All Trails app, you can access many beautiful hikes and waterfalls close by to the area. This is an exceptional home for a wonderful respite!

The PERFECT stay!

My work colleagues and I were at Lake J for the WNC Annual Conference. This was the PERFECT house for our group! Four of the bedrooms have private bathrooms, which is great for non-family members staying together. The location was perfect because it is so close to Stuart Auditorium and the other conference locations. And the house itself is BEAUTIFUL, comfortable and well-equipped. If you are going to Lake J, you would do yourself a disservice by NOT looking into this beautiful home. I believe this so much that we have already made our reservations to stay here again next year, and can't wait!
