We had a great time at the home for Spring Break. It is a beautiful location and close to every thing. House felt warm and welcoming. Family loved the hot tub. We did not get the chance to use the firepit but hopefully we will next time we stay and visit the area. Definitely would like to come back for another stay at this home next time we visit the area.
We loved this house! Everything was great and the location is perfect for Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We will certainly try to book again next time we are in the area.
The cottage has great character and charm and is located close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We walked to the Flowering Bridge each morning with our coffee, and spent most evenings on the porch enjoying the weather and some views of the mountains.
We had a whirlwind stay at this charming cabin! It was our first time in Lake Lure. The home was very clean (and I am very picky.) The beds were beautifully made and everything was extremely comfortable!
LOVED staying at this house. Was the perfect location for activities at Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and still close enough to Hendersonville and Asheville to enjoy the sights there too. This house was beautifully decorated and perfect size for our family. The hot tub on firework night was perfect too.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and make new memories! Weâll be back for sure.
We had a super enjoyable stay at this beautiful cottage! The house couldnât be in a better location enabling us to walk to the flowering bridge and to the chimney rock downtown. We hiked to the top of Chimney Rock and then came back to enjoy the hot tub. The host was very gracious to leave complimentary wine and gourmet popcorn for us! The deck has a view of the mountains and was a perfect place for sitting and drinking coffee. We hope to be back soon!
House was amazing! Stayed with two young kids, walking distance to flowering brindge and lake. Chimney Rock was only a minute away to hike, eat and shop. Hot tub was a gem for the kids in-between activities. Loved it!
The cottage was so clean and cozy. All the details did not go unnoticed to make it homey and comfortable. The hot tub was a great treat after hiking to little Bradley falls. The fire pit was great for a relaxing evening. I can't wait to go back again!
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We got to see some snow in Asheville and the views from the house were great. Wish to come back when it is warmer to enjoy the water near the house.
Fell in love with the area and the cabin! Perfect for a our family of four and I canât stop thinking about it and looking back at the pictures. We came as a cold front was coming through (got down to 10 below) but it was still amazing! Canât wait to come back in the summer!
Perfect place to get away for a few days!!
Comfy beds, great kitchen, large bathroom, and amazing hot tub; The house is charming and so is the area. A trip to the top of Chimney Rock is highly recommended.
What a wonderfully charming cottage. The location was very close to all the attractions (lake, town, Chimney Rock park), yet you feel secluded. The cottage was very well decorated, super clean and well stocked with items one needs for cooking. Perfect romantic get-a-way! I hope to be back soon.
This property was perfect! it was very clean and had everything that we needed
My wife and I came here for our first anniversary and it was wonderful. We arrived on a friday afternoon to see a complementary "smores bucket" with all the fixings to make smores in the fire pit (which we did on saturday night). We enjoyed dinner and the sunset on the water at a nearby restaurant that evening. Then the best part of the trip happened, I was texting with the owners Angie and Eric asking them about the best hiking nearby as we were planning that for our day Saturday. Unfortunately we had forgotten to bring a backpack to take for our hiking, so Angie asked if we would like her to bring a backpack in the morning... we happily accepted. The next morning they showed up not only with the backpack, but it was fully stocked with waters and energy bars as well!! They even brought us a bottle of wine to enjoy afterwards. We hiked Saturday in Chimney Rock State Park (Less than a mile away. Did all trails and gift shop in about 5 hrs) and had dinner at a nearby place they had suggested which was delicious! That night we built a fire by just picking up nearby wood which was plentify as the entire house is surrounded by wooded areas. We made smores and sat around the fire just enjoying each others company before finishing the night relaxed in the hot tub. We sipped coffee on Sunday morning to the sounds of birds chirping and church bells ringing in the distance (extremely peaceful) before checking out and still spending the day walking the flower bridge, lunch in Morse park, and a boat tour of the lake. All of which is only about 3 minutes from the cottage. We will absolutely be back to stay here again.. This cottage was perfect and the owners were just as perfect. It felt like we were just staying at a friends home while on vacation. Thank you Angie and Eric for making our first anniversary better than we imagined it could be!! - The Jordans
Enjoyed our stay here very much. It was clean and well-appointed. All kitchen basics including basic spices were there and ample dishware and pots/pans, all in very good shape. Almost 100 year old house but you wouldn't know it as it's been nicely renovated inside and out. Beds and furniture comfy and in great shape. LOVED the gas stove. Would have been nice to have a washer/dryer for a week's stay but we managed ok. Super close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock - great location. Would stay again.
