Retraite Waterfront sur Mini 'Sur Golden Pond' 10 miles de Lake George

TRANQUIL RETREAT - Maison de trois chambres située sur un mini 'Sur Golden Pond'. Seulement trois autres maisons sur l'étang privé de 10 acres. Bateau à pédales ou kayaks - tous disponibles sur place pour naviguer dans une eau cristalline. Situé sur l'extrémité endiguée de l'étang, vous serez serein par le bruit de l'eau qui coule sur le barrage dans le ruisseau ci-dessous. En outre, seulement 1/4 mile à la plage publique du lac Luzerne. Le gazebo, barbecue à gaz, terrasse, quai, table de pique-nique, hamac, foyer extérieur et chaises Adirondack en font le cadre idéal pour se détendre ou se divertir.

Et à l'intérieur, (si jamais vous y allez): La maison est entièrement meublée, avec un salon, une chambre, une grande salle de bain complète avec laveuse et sécheuse, une cuisine et une salle à manger au premier étage. La cuisine a un grand réfrigérateur, cuisinière électrique / four, cafetière, micro-ondes et grille-pain. Il y a une grande fenêtre dans la cuisine avec une belle vue sur l'étang pour vous inspirer pendant que vous cuisinez. La grande table de salle à manger peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes. Les deux autres chambres sont au deuxième étage; les deux ont des fenêtres donnant sur l'eau. Toutes les chambres peuvent accueillir jusqu'à deux personnes. Les draps et le service d'ordures sont fournis. Accès Internet inclus.

SARATOGA SPRINGS: Environ 20 minutes dans la ville pittoresque de Saratoga Springs, pour faire du shopping, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (nombreux concerts d'été, orchestre et ballet), piste Saratoga, Saratoga Polo Club, Saratoga Harness Track et le nouveau Saratoga Gaming Casino . Assez proche, mais loin des célébrations de la Saint-Sylvestre.

LAC LUZERNE: Environ 1/4 mile à pied du lac Luzerne et plage publique. Concerts extérieurs gratuits en été dans le pavillon surplombant le lac de Luzerne. Au-dessus de la colline à l'école publique Hadley / Luzerne avec accès à l'aire de jeux. Courte promenade à la ville du lac de Luzerne avec la bibliothèque publique, le marché, le basket-ball de ville et les courts de tennis, le restaurant d'UpRiver, et les voyages d'excursion de rafting d'eau vive. Parcours de golf de 9 trous - Bend of the River à Hadley (moins de huit kilomètres). Environ trois milles des sentiers de motoneige du comté de Warren; moins de 30 minutes de la montagne de l'Ouest pour le ski. Historic Fort William Henry et Lake George Battlefield Park, Prospect Mountain avec la vue de 100 mile qui surplombe le lac George. Stay was great. Instructions were easy to follow and the property was very nice. Private pond and dock. It was nice and quiet. Caught some bass. Fell asleep in a chair with my pole in the water. What else can a guy ask for!

Wouldn't change a thing!

We stayed at a friend's house in Lake Luzerne two years ago and fell in love with the area. It's as quiet or as "busy" as you want to make it due to its proximity to Saratoga, Lake George, etc. Last year we stayed at one of Diane's other properties (Looney Bin) and loved it. In looking at her other listings, we chose the House on Mini Golden Pond this year, as it was a bit more spacious AND sits right on the most beautiful pond. The house didn't disappoint. I think the biggest surprise that we found that didn't translate through the listing photos was the size and layout of the kitchen. IT IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. A huge countertop prep space with a picture window overlooking the yard and the pond... Location was awesome, as you can walk right into "town," where there is a food market, pharmacy, clothing boutique, scenic river overlook, library, and a few historical structures. We had our dog with us (another reason we exclusively choose to rent with Diane), and she loved walking into town or doing more scenic walks if you go that other direction from the house. Our girls (14 and 16) are a little old for just wanting to go swimming, so they LOVED the paddleboat and kayaks that come with the house. The pond itself is clear and clean and so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The bathroom was recently renovated and includes a new full-size washer and dryer. Honestly, if you're considering booking this, just click now and do it - you won't regret it (and you may not want to leave)!

Wonderful week in an idyllic home

We were a party of 6 adults who stayed a week in order to make day trips to Lake George, Ticonderoga, Albany, Saratoga Springs and western Vermont. We found the home to be very comfortable and, in all ways, as depicted in the listing (or better). It was perfectly situated for the types of trips I mentioned and for days you want to stay on property, too. We hope to return!

Great Stay

We were passing through on a vacation with our dog and had never visited this area before. We only had a couple of days to stay, but were very glad we did. This was such a nice, private spot on the water and we were able to use the kayaks on the pond. The property manager was so prompt with responses to our questions and very helpful with ideas of things to do nearby, including hikes, biking trails, and restaurants. Wish we had more time to explore, but would definitely return. Also, so glad it was dog-friendly.

Family Vacation

Me, my husband, and 2 young adult children really enjoyed our week at the Pond House. The outside space with kayaks and pedal boat for the pond and fire-pit were perfect. The house was as advertised with plenty of room for 4 people. The bathroom was updated with plenty of towels. It was a short drive to Luzerne and Fourth Lakes to rent a boat for catching fish. Lake George is only a 20 minute drive for shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed rail bikes at Hadley Station. Diane was very responsive when the circuit breaker tripped. She was at the house in minutes. We’d be happy to visit again next time we are in the Adirondacks.

Loved our stay?

We absolutely loved our week on the pond!!! The house was cute but the outside was amazing!!!! Loved the dam landing with the peddleboat and kayaks!!! So much to do just at home - without even leaving! Kayaked, swam, and had fires. Thank you so much for this family week before our oldest heads back to college!

Summer 2023

Property was just as described. No complaints and no issues during our stay. My two teens enjoyed the kayaks, peddle boat and even caught some fish. Lazy River Tubby Tubing was fun and close by and highly recommend the Long Horn Restaurant for dinner. Diane was very nice and checked on us during our stay.

We loved our stay at The Pond House ! The house it’s self was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were VERY comfortable. Had all of the comforts of home. What really sold us was the outdoor space, and we used every inch of it. We grilled hamburgers in the gazebo and cooked hotdogs and s’mores at the fire pit. We enjoyed our morning coffee overlooking the pond in the Adirondack chairs and played ladder ball in the yard. We ended everyday either in the gazebo or around the fire pit . The best part was the pond. We spent a lot of time on the water. It was so beautiful, quiet and surprisingly very clear. My husband and son used the kayaks, and my sons girlfriend and I brought our own paddle boards . Swimming was so nice, the water was perfect. The house is close to a lot of fun things. Tubby Tubes was a nice tubbing trip. 9 hole golf course very nice. The town of Lake George is a short drive away. Boat rental on lake George was the highlight of the trip. So many fun things to do. We would definitely go back again !!!

We had a very nice time in spite of nasty weather for most of our week. The house was as described and pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. Although we were unable to use the pond there were 2 kayaks and a peddle boat as promised with life jackets available in the shed. All in all we had a very nice visit with family and friends and the house was all that was promised.

Property is perfect for an active family with a pet. A peaceful retreat to detox from corporate life! Love the creeks, trails, and beaches within a short walk. Lots to do and see in the area.

Family time at the pond house

The property was very nice, pond was crystal clear. The guys enjoyed fishing and we all enjoyed the pedal boat. We were disappointed that the hammock wasn't there, we would have enjoyed a nap in it! There was a lot more things supplied in the kitchen that weren't in the listing for the property, it would've saved us from bringing them with us. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, relaxing few days. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your property!!

Pond House

We stayed at The Pond House in Lake Luzerne NY. We chose the location because it was close to Lake George and allowed pets. My Husband, my son and myself along with our pet Corgi had a fantastic visit. Home was clean and fishing was plentiful. My husband couldn’t believe how many he caught (and released). Quiet area and so close to Lake George for shopping and boating. We had a great time.

Quiet and beautiful place, had everything what we needed it for a peaceful weekend with my husband, son and our 2 dogs, we went for a long walk and the neighbors were really nice, we used the grill and the kitchen so we didn't need to look for a restaurant.
