It is very spacious and family oriented property. Loved the view of lake from all the rooms. Enjoyed the fire pit and patio dining area. Conveniently located. Would definitely recommend for the group of people.

It was obvious no one from the rental company went to spruce up the house prior to our arrival. Rugs outside were tattered and dirty, inside entry rugs along with all bathroom rugs were very dirty. We had to hunt for bathroom washcloths, as not every bathroom had them. There was only one hair dryer for the entire house. As for the kitchen, it was stated to be well stocked, it was not. The cooking items that were there were just old and worn. There was only one wineglass and some very small stem glasses. We had to call the rental company to ask for dish cloths and dish towels. They did deliver brand new ones later that evening along with a package of Oreos. When I called the rental company I also told them none of the windows had the cranks on them that were needed in case of a fire. Two of the bedrooms did not have a sliding door, so the cranks were needed in order to open a window. I was assured this would be addressed by maintenance. They asked me to text a detailed message about the crank handles and a contact number, which I did. Never heard from them, so we went to Menards and bought one for each bedroom. We tried to use the fireplace, but when it was turned on, the smoke alarms went off. The bathroom towels in the downstairs master bathroom smelled like mildew. We ended up washing them, hoping to make them smell a little better. It did not work. We have used VRBO for many years and have never had any issues like this.

The views were amazing and the home spacious. Parking was an issue. I wished Iā€™d known how steep the driveway was and how limited the parking. We had trouble with just two vehicles. I would have chosen a different location had I known. We were there to celebrate Christmas and were disappointed that even though the photos showed a Christmas tree, there were no seasonal decorations at all. As noted in other reviews, the place wasnā€™t clean. There was dried spaghetti on the counters, debrief on the floors, and dirty dishes in the cabinets. The hot tub was off, cold, and low on water so we lost an entire day of being able to access that amenity. The mattress on the primary bed was too small for the frame causing a gap making it difficult to get in and out of, that and the mattress topper hung over the side several inches. Dead bugs were everywhere. That and the inch of dust told me it had been vacant for a while and not cleaned prior to our stay. We werenā€™t able to make our Christmas cookies because we couldnā€™t find a single mixing bowl. The sliding glass door off the kitchen was hard to close and difficult to lock which from previous reviews the owners have known about but never fixed. The furniture was comfortable, the dock was great, and the kitchen spacious enough. If management would do some cleaning and maintenance it would be a nice place but from the reviews the same issues have existed for at least a year without being addressed.

Cleanliness was an issue, spot on master bedroom bedding, we washed all bedding. Empty Beer bottles in laundry room. Refrigerator and freezer were dirty. Pet hair on tv room carpet and sofa. Hot tub was low on water, and did nit heat up. Dishwasher did not turn on. And maintenance came while we were there to blow leaves off patio and main entrance. Ice maker looked molded and not functional. No wood available for the firepit. Main patio door was a struggle to lock. Enjoyed the views and boat dock. Would like a refund on cleaning fee.

The property was spacious enough to easily accommodate our family of 8 adults. We enjoyed the large hot tub, expansive dock with chairs and the fire pit. The views are amazing and the location close to the Bagnell Dam made it easy for our family to spend a few hours of fun shopping and dining on the Bagnell Dam Blvd. Plus, a quick run to the grocery store for smores ingredients was no problem!

Family lake memories

The lake experience was everything we hoped it would be. Everyone from young to old had a great time. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably and the dock and outdoor space was more than we expected. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful Quiet Getaway

Girls trip!!! Our group travels once a year to relax and catch up. This being said the house fit our needs perfectly. Plenty of room and seating in common areas. The deck has plenty of seating and the views are so relaxing. The kitchen is top notch! Communication was fast! Rent the house, you won't regret it!

Vacay Away

House was beautiful and spacious. We loved the fire pit, hot tub, and sitting on the dock in the afternoon. The location was excellent-close enough to Bagnell Damn Blvd that we could UBER, and a good location for the captain of the boat charter we hired to come and pick us up on the dock. It was also close to the state park for hiking and close to Stark Cavern we visited. Property manager was very receptive. We had no grill here as advertised when we arrived but when management was alerted we had a grill by the afternoon. We would have like instructions on the oven, hot tub, and light switches Cleanliness could be improved. Windows in the whole property were filthy. The windowsill above the kitchen sink was covered with bugs upon arrival and in the laundry room sink had what appeared to be a gross hairball that was just left there Cobwebs were everywhere. Trash was left all around the fire pit. Beds were comfortable after we removed the way too soft pillow topper. However our friends loved the pillow topper. Just depends on what you prefer. Pillows were comfortable. We couldnā€™t figure out how to turn the lights on that line the steps down to the dock-kind of dangerous at night. Overall we had a great stay.
