So awful. Absolutely disgusting just like most of the old nasty Tahoe rooms. Someone should require that they update. Should not be allowed to rent out these slums.

Good place to stay!

We went to watch our daughter’s soccer game and needed a room for the night. We were greeted warmly and felt very welcome. Our room was comfy and clean. My only complaints were 1. the towels were very worn out and a couple had stains on them. 2. They need to get a new mattress pad. The one on our bed was all balled up and I could feel them through the sheets. The bed was very comfy and we had a peaceful night! This place was centrally located so we could walk around and get dinner and check out all the many shops and places to see!

Simple, cozy place to stay in Tahoe on a budget

The owners are very sweet, the wife even told us about a Hozier concert that was going to happen near the hotel that same night. We were unaware of it and we are glad she told us. We got last minute discount tickets and attended that amazing concert! The place is not luxurious but it is clean, organized, and very cozy. It seems like the bathrooms were remodeled, they look nice. I’d go back to this hotel in the future.

Very limited parking, rooms were dirty and not well maintained. Beds were comfortable but sheets had some stains. The location is great, there's lots of places nearby so it's sad to see it's not as maintained.

The lady was really nice, fast check in. Wish I could have checked in earlier, wouldn't have minded paying a fee but the guy just yelled at me to come back at 3:00pm. Ended up going to a restaurant nearby to sit down and eat. Lots of shops and food spots nearby! The room was clean and spacious. There was a leak on the ceiling on the bathroom, that made an annoying noise at night. I was still able to sleep though. Check in and check out was smooth.

Bed linens had blood stains and other stains on them. The chairs in the room were the same way. Bugs crawling out of the drain in the shower. It is the Budget Inn, so we expected poor quality, but yeah. It’s a place to sleep for one night.

Smell in the room. The sheets had hair on them. The sheets were yellowed. The Blanket had cigarette burns that appeared to have been painted over. We slept in our clothes and jackets so we wouldn’t have to lay on directly on the sheets.Cobwebs in the corners. Stains on the bathroom counter.Shower area was dark and dingy.

Inexpensive but clean and quiet, not fancy.

Sure, this is a budget hotel that looks like it was built decades ago. While it lacked modern amenities, it was clean and quiet and priced appropriately. I wouldn’t want to spend my vacation at this hotel if I wanted to spend a lot of time in a room, but it was fine for passing through or spending time outside.
