Great place to stay. I'm not into fancy or boujee hotels, so when i give this place 5 stars, i'm not talking about a $1000 a night gold plated Hilton hotel room. I'm going to be using the room to sleep in, and chill after a day of adventuring. This hotel checks all the boxes for that. Good location right off the 80 in west Truckee. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast with muffins, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Some fruit, coffee, cocoa. Staff is cool af. There are some good food options in walking distance. Safeway, old Truckee, and such are a few minute drive. For what i'm after, this is a great hotel.

Stayed during a busy holiday period, so not great value for price paid. But would stay again at a lower price point as its location is very convenient to downtown Truckee businesses, ski resorts, and Lake Tahoe. Clean and updated room in a dated hotel. Breakfast options was surprisingly good (although all prepackaged) and exceeded my expectations. Parking was ample, and walking distance to grocery store, which was nice. The air freshener was a little much tho.

Bathroom was leaking from the ceiling vent. When we told the front desk they gave us some towels and said “yeah, I don’t know why it’s doing that.”

Very convince place to stay , you can eat next to the inn , no need to drive , there McDonald’s and other restaurants, only 4 minutes drive to the Donner Park . You can play snow there with young kids, the bathrooms in the park is very clean . The inn has 3 floors ,we can see beautiful view through our room window , the room is very warm , strong heat system. Bathroom in our room is clean.

The beds were terrible! The curve the mattress goes into when you lay on it was incredibly unconformable and the head was actually below the level of the feet on the bed! I did respond to a text I received from the property after the first night and complained about the mattresses but no one followed up. But to be fair, the breakfast was very good and the staff were nice and friendly, location was also convenient. Just the terrible beds😞

Room was clean but lacking basic necessities as a closet and hooks for ski jackets. Staff was just ‘ok”, not friendly/not rude but helpful if you ask. Location is good and central. Breakfast was nice. Overall, the place needs some updating.

The bed was extremely hard to get into, because of its height. There was no way to change channels on the tv. The room was clean. We did not have breakfast.
