Previous guests have already described this propertyâs great location (true), many amenities (also true), and delightful, responsive host (true again). So, whatâs left for us to say? WellâŠ
First, the house is not as pictured. Believe it or not, itâs more spacious than it appears in the photos. Spacious, comfortable living room, dining room and bedrooms, and an attractive master bath with plenty of room for your stuff. Doug said I should mention that the mattress in the master bedroom is exceptionally comfortable. Also, thereâs lots of functional space in the laundry area.
Second, thereâs the kitchen. Doug â heâs the one who cooks â really liked the layout, and thereâs plenty of cupboard space for groceries. Also, the large pantry is stocked with supplies sufficient to host a Thanksgiving dinner.
Third, the lanai. Everyone else has already mentioned the lanai, so I am going to skip right over it and tell you about the back yard instead. Itâs a charming yard with pretty ferns and big shade trees and little white lights. And thereâs an outdoor shower, also lit with those little white lights.
Finally, thereâs the privacy. Yes, you will be close to downtown, but you wonât hear noise from the local pubs. The house is located in the historic section of town, where the houses charming, but very close together, yet you never see or hear the neighbors. And they never see you. Everything about the property is artfully arranged for complete privacy. That sweet little backyard can only be accessed by going through the house, so itâs both private and secure.
Have you ever read reviews where people say they will âdefinitely returnâ and wonder if they ever did? We are already booked for next year.
