Pros-House was cute and comfortable, plenty of living spaces with two sitting rooms and a sun room, beach access was easy and private, yard was secluded and privateCons-Grill was completely shot and unusable, cookware could be upgraded, house needs a deep cleaning, most of the games were missing pieces, we found five unlocked windows and the door was wide open when we arrived

This is a wonderful and cozy beach house with plenty of living space! Large kitchen and living room plus TV room. The outside decks are awesome, plus a cute sunroom. Very comfortable mattresses. With just a 5 minute walk to the beach entrance, we spent most days there enjoying Lake Michigan. Lakeside is a great area with a lot to offer and this house is a great place to stay.

Wonderful stay in Lakeside

We loved staying at this home in Lakeside. The living area was very spacious - two living spaces, screened in porch, and outdoor patio. It was also clean and comfortable. Our kids loved running around in the backyard and walking to the beach!

Amazing private beach access

Our family stayed here in August. The location was amazing, just a short 10 min walk to the private beach which was much larger than expected with not a lot of people. It’s also close to cute restaurants and coffee shops (Whistle Stop) and a short ride to downtown New Buffalo. The house was spacious and cottage like and perfect for our stay!

Great Neighborhood and Home

This is our favorite neighborhood in the Sawyer/St. Joe/New Buffalo area, hands down! The beach is never too busy, the walk to the beach is quick and easy, and on a whole, the neighborhood is quiet. This house was perfectly suited for our needs, with ample bedroom space for my family of five as well as my parents and our dog, a swingset in the backyard, and good living spaces. The only thing I'd change would be the sheets, as the ones on our bed were quite pilly and rough, but that's an easy fix! We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely Long Weekend

Property was clean, well maintained, a quick walk to the beach, and perfect for our two families to spend a holiday weekend together. The host was even able and willing to accomodate a last minute date change. We would love to return!

Awesome House

We enjoyed our stay here with our Pomeranian! beautiful sunsets, private beach where we had fires every night. The house was clean and well equipped with a chef's kitchen Outdoor shower, too. Highly recommend for larger group or just a few.

Birthday weekend in Lakeside

This was our second year in a row coming up for the Columbus Day weekend and it was another memorable trip. Between the fall festival, the pumpkin patch, the beach, and the surrounding wineries and breweries, the whole family had a blast. The house was the perfect set up once again and the kids loved playing on the playground in the backyard. Can’t wait to do it again next year..

Nice place!

Nice place with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was great - short walk to a very nice beach on Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive. Great experience all the way around.

Great place for a family Christmas

My family stayed here for Christmas and it was wonderful!! The place had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the tiny tv in the main living room was very hard to see. I would love to visit again.

Great stay

We were very impressed with Jamie’s place. The inside was very clean and spacious. The outside was equally as great with a large backyard with a very nice play set. This place is ideal for families with younger kids and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend this house!
