This was our first time staying at a Comfort Inn. The front desk staff was fabulous, but that was pretty much the highlight. The beds were pretty comfortable, but the sofa bed was the worst we have ever had. We are a family of 5, so our kids rotate sleeping on the pull out during our trips. The room also seemed smaller than other hotels we have stayed at so it felt like we were on top of each other. The breakfast was just okay. (My husband swore the eggs were powdered.) We frequently heard the people running around on the floor above us. The location was convenient if you was easy access to chain restaurants, but it was not an aesthetically location. We opted to go to local restaurants instead since Amish cooking is so good, so we had to commute 15+ minutes whenever we wanted to eat. The interstate is close by, but there was no road noise in our room. In the end, we opted leaving a night early because we were not enjoying our stay. If we travel back to Lancaster, we will be staying elsewhere. It’s not a bad hotel, just not for us.

Couples Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as a getaway to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Overall, the stay was good, however, a couple of the front desk employees need more training and respect. No one should have their head down at the computer when they're being asked a question, it's rude! Also, when my husband handed an employee $2.00 for an apple juice, he acted like he didn't want to take the money, as if his hand might come in contact with my husband's hand. A younger front desk employee was very kind and friendly. As well as other employees who work there. The room was very clean (even before cleaning it myself). However, the beds were not Queen Size, they were definitely Full Size beds but they were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good but the coffee machine was broke on the first day of breakfast. So we had to go to Wawa for coffee. Also, there's a sign on the front door of the hotel that states, "We don't rent to locals." I'm not sure what that's about but it's not a good look, it's unwelcoming and it can be borderline discrimination. This hotel is in a great location. It's near various eateries, stores and not far from different attractions.

Property is clean and nice. Rooms are spacious and nice. However, the breakfast was awful. They claim a full breakfast, but the scrambled eggs were powdered and gross and the sausages were overcooked and cardboard-like. Consider this a continental breakfast and you will not be disappointed.

We always choose Comfort Suites if they are available in the area we are staying. I have never had a bad experience. It is clean, there is housekeeping service and the suite works well for us.

I left my loop recorder device (it records my heart information and relays it to my doctors every 24 hours). The cleaning staff saved the device for me, and I was able to have it sent to my home address. I am so thankful to those cleaning ladies!

Rooms were spacious and super clean. Plenty of soap, shampoo and soft towels. The staff was amazing and friendly. The pool was clean. The breakfast buffet was great. Hots were hot and colds were cold. Plenty of options to try and in sufficient quantity (replacement food came at regular intervals). Constant cleaning and monitoring. Walking distance to dining options and a nearby Target. We're definitely staying again!
