This is a hit and miss hotel... it just depends on your preference My pros: The property and room is stunning, the landscaping beautiful, the snorkeling is fab, bed comfortable, 20mins fron airport, Geethinka & Ram in the restaurant are brilliant! My cons: food not good, felt like it was run by accountants - all inclusive ended at 12pm day of departure - all inclusive options not good for drinks food & mini bar they were really tight, staff not happy and do not like working there, was supposed to get a bottle of bottle of sparkling wine for our honeymoon never got it, tried to arrange floating breakfast was told "no they cant do it" no alternative, food terrible ( i had to put in twice it was so bad ) Such a shame as it was our honeymoon and a zero birthday, wasnt ruined but dont think we will go back.

Mariyam was a fantastic hostess who assisted with all my needs and questions. I had a beach side room which backed on to an incredible and secluded beach. The room could use an update but was fine and clean. I spent 2 nights in a pool villa and that was a great room.

There all inclusive was more like only 30% inclusive. I paid for all inclusive and was not able to enjoy half of their drink selection. The lagoon restaurant was great tho. Very disappointed in the poor area inclusive drink selection. Not worth the extra money!!!!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. There really wasnt anything that let this island down. The food was incredible, the service on point and there wasnt a chance to get bored with all the activities and facilities available. The dive centre is the best ive ever been to. All the staff there were super helpful. The dive guides extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to dive with. Our guide Kartik was brilliant. He took us to some mind blowing dive spots all only a short distance from the island. We also did a night dive on the house reff which is just beautiful.

Overall nice stay with great snorkeling. We stayed at water villa and ate at the Lagoon restaurant. The food can use improvement in quality and consistency. Service staff was nice. We filled out the survey for food on our 2nd day and the staff really took it seriously and made sure we had good food options rest of our stay. Breakfast was consistently awesome. Lunch and dinner varied in our opinion. I wish our host treated the food allergy we reported seriously as we had kiwi sent to our room as well served on a 10 person excursion without an alternative. The staff was nice to have kind gestures when we shared the food allergy issue. Just not the 5-star personalized experience we expected. We booked on Expedia 7 days before we arrived. The hotel never confirmed our arrival flight. Hope the property better manages communication. Luckily there was another family on the same flight so we didn’t wait for the boat transfer. Just an unnecessary stressful beginning when you do not hear back from the property.

The island is beautiful and very relaxing. Being able to walk out of our villa onto the beach and snorkel with the amazing sea life was the highlight of the trip for us. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with special mention to Helan, our housekeeper, and the wait staff in Bageecha Restaurant who were particularly attentive. Towards the end of our stay, we were thrilled to receive a complementary room upgrade to a stunning water villa. It was such a treat for our last night.
