Perfect spot for a grande ledge wedding

We had an incredible stay! There were eight of us, including two toddlers, traveling for a wedding, and this house couldn’t have been more perfect. It was spacious, clean, and super comfortable—plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel at home.The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy for us to prepare meals together. The huge backyard was a dream for both the adults and the little ones—lots of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors.What really stood out was the host’s hospitality. Communication was fast and thoughtful. When I asked if there were any extra hangers, he brought some over within 15 minutes—talk about above and beyond!This place made our trip even more special, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’d absolutely stay here again!Also, we saw a bunny and made friends with a neighborhood kitty!

Great stay for 2 families with kids

This property worked great for my brother's family and mine. There is a large backyard and a basketball goal. The kids had fun catching fireflies in the summer evenings and had fun playing wiffle ball and basketball. The 3 upstairs rooms worked well for the kids and my husband and I. My brother, wife, and baby slept in the master downstairs which had ample room for a pack n play for the baby. All in all a very comfortable stay and much more enjoyable than multiple hotel rooms.

Guys Golf Trip

Apart from the master the bedrooms were cramped, especially the 4th which the queen blow up bed barely fit into. Otherwise property was extremely clean with an abundance of nice touches, such as coffee, soap, shampoo etc.

Easter visit

This house was everything I could have asked for. Lots of little extras I don’t sometimes find at other VRBOs. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Lansing. Also, David was very responsive when I couldn’t figure out how the coffee machine worked. 5 stars!

A nice stay away!

Property was well taken care of and clean inside. Master bedroom was seperate from other rooms which was nice because we gave the room to the newly parents of a 3 wk old. Each room had a fan to turn on to sleep, that was a nice touch because who doesnt sleep with a fan on these days. Lol

David was a terrific host! He had provided more than we had expected. The home was lovely, updated and had everything we needed. We felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We discussed renting again when we return to visit our family. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Great house

The house is exactly as pictured. Cleanliness was top notch. Appliances and cabinets in the kitchen were updated and modern. Both bathrooms were exceptional. Only thing I was a tad skeptical about was parking and the neighborhood.

The Lodge

This was our 2nd stay at the lodge for a short adult family weekend. We love this house, it’s cozy, but with plenty of room for 6 adults, and there could even be 8 adults, as the host added an extra bed in an alcove area. David, the host is super responsive. I originally booked the wrong date (we were attending a concert in Lansing), and he very kindly changed the date, as it was available. He also brought us a more ample coffee machine, as there were quite a few of us drinking coffee, and the Keurig one cup would have not been so good for 6 of us. The living room has a lot of comfortable seating for numerous people, which is nice. Perfect place to stay!

MSU graduation stay

This property was a great set up for extended family. We were in town for MSU graduation and needed space for multi-generational family. This was a great space with room for all. It is a cute house, nicely decorated and felt like an “up north” house with the wood and high ceilings. David was easy to communicate with and everything went as expected. The backyard was huge and I wish we had more time to relax out there. I wish we had found this property earlier in our Spartan’s time at MSU, we would have stayed here for football weekends!

Excellent. Perfect for a couple and their kids or multiple couples!

My husband and I were able to use the front bedroom and have our coffee in quite in the am without disturbing the rest of the house. The adult kids had 2 bedrooms w a small sitting room between them. So our daughters each had a room, one w her husband and our granddaughter had her pack and play in sitting room between bedrooms. Our teenage son took the couch. Kitchen very well equipped. David, our host brought over an extra table and chairs as I was cooking for my extended family! The yard is awesome! Thank you, David!

Wonderful break

We love this house! We’ve stayed there three times while visiting our daughter. This time it provided a wonderful break for us as we packed our daughter and son-in-law’s belongings for a cross country move. It’s clean, beautiful, and restful. We love all the backyard games, the grill, and picnic table, too. It’s perfect for family fun! David is an excellent host!
