The peoperty was not maintained. The hallway smelled of smoke & was littered. Carpets badly in need of steam cleaning. Room was not clean. We had to clean washroom with disinfectant wipes. Sheets & towels were clean. The carpet in the room needs steam cleaning. Overall a.terrible.place to stay.

The Clarion hotel was an absolute nightmare, the hotel had a peculiar smell and absolutely in un-hygiene condition requiring us to make alternative arrangements. After much search we were able to find a hotel for our 2 night stay while at our conference on July 11th, thus canceling the Clarion stay late that night. We suggest a full refund be granted to us given the inconvenience and the additional stress of looking up another hotel after a long 5 hour journey. Please look into the matter and credit my visa at the earliest convenience. Thank you Ingrid

Room had string musty, moldy, chemical smell which affected my sinuses. Was offered another room but with same but less strong odor. Housekeeping offered to spray the room with freshener but that just covered up whatever was affecting my sinuses. Just couldn’t stay. Refused room and went to another motel.

The room for the price was really great. My one complaint is that the fridge would tuen on and very noisy making it difficult to sleep. Breakfast in the morning was very good too.

Front desk mgr Starr and Melissa were perfectly wonderful to me. Construction on Starbucks across the street was terrible, but the general location was great. Beds were. Very high but super comfy.

Ac doesnt work very well, was not on when we got to the room. 97 out. Room smelly, and though some newer finishes, its not great. Hope the beds are clean when we pull the covers back. Was looking forward to a nicer place. This is only a small step up....

Every time I go to East Lansing I stay at the Clarion. It is perfectly located. Close to where my friend lives and campus and downtown are a couple of minutes away. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are friendly and competent. I will continue to stay there when I’m in East Lansing.
