Nice place to stay with teens and adults, some cleanliness issues

The outdoor areas were not well-cleaned on arrival and there were pots and pans in cabinets that had food residue on them. Despite these cleanliness issues we had a great stay and loved the deck area and swimming in particular. Due to the stairs and railroad line/swimming dock this place isn’t ideal for young children or people with less mobility.

Lovely lake view with a full slate of amenities

Wonderful retreat on the shore of Lake Cayuga! Great porch with a gorgeous view and a large fire-pit for s'mores! Wish we'd had longer to make use of pingpong table, cornhole and dock/kayaks (though we were surprised by the strength of the the lake current!) The property is serene and peaceful -- lots of birdsong and deer-- just a bit remote from shopping (beyond a dollar store).

Wasn’t as clean as I would have expected, BBQ was disgusting one gas bottle was empty and the 2nd maybe a 1/3 full. Great location and view Need to be clear about parking being limited and difficult access down stairs to front door

Great Week

Our group (8 adults and 2 infants) stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. The house is large enough for everyone to spread out if they wanted to but we spent the majority of time on the deck. We spent mornings out there using the sectional and table that seats eight. When we had too much sun on the dock, we would come up for lunch. We ate dinner out there each night. The rooms had everything we needed and the bathrooms were clean. We brought way too much stuff because we hadn’t anticipated how well stocked the house would be. They have pots and pans and cutting boards and basic spices. We also saw there were garbage bags and dishwasher tabs. We appreciated that there was laundry available for use, although the laundry room does have a bit of dampness. We took it in stride because it’s a lake house after all. There wasn’t dampness anywhere else. We would for sure stay here again.

Exceeding your hopes

The pictures don't do this truly restful place justice. This home is comfortable from the moment you walk through the door. Close enough to Ithaca to enjoy restaurants and natural wonders while far enough to feel away from the hustle of daily life. Kudos to the owner and management team, the place is well appointed, well decorated and really has everything you need. For a family looking to relax - you've found it. The management team is supportive, friendly and professional. Really, you just can't beat the gracious size of the porch overlooking the lake - it was perfect.

Amazing: the property had all modern amenities, conveniences and was well equipped with blankets, heaters, great lighting and music. We appreciated the fully functional kitchen; we totally enjoyed everything from the beautiful decks, ping pong table, fire pit to the kayaks and paddle boards on the water front wharf. Great home with Amazing Views

We celebrated Thanksgiving with friends and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Walking along the railroad tracks, sitting at the water's edge, and enjoying a campfire were just a few of the many ways we had fun with the kids. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening on the covered deck was something the adults looked forward to every day. The home's decor was lovely and there was plenty of room for everyone. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Anniversary Getaway

Rental process was smooth and easy. Property was as expected. Nice setting, cute, clean house with excellent views of the lake. Perfect size for our group. Two things that annoyed me however: 1) property manager said no fires nor fire pit yet clearly there was a fire pit and firewood on property which was recently used; we're country folk and like our fires by the lake. 2) the house next door was under construction the day we arrived and the house we stayed in was having lawn maintenance performed the first morning of our stay; so the first hours were very noisy. Otherwise place was great

We picked the right house and the right season

The house is newly renovated and wonderful. The interior is inviting and the water/railroad tracks view breathtaking. We had issues with water and property management sent someone out ASAP and the homeowners handled the situation very favorably. We hope to return.

Just Right!

Provides something to entertain everyone. Canoes, paddle boards table tennis . Dock for fishing. Awesome views. Peaceful with trees and squirrels. Geese, ducks and other waterfowl on the lake. It is a bit of a hike down to the lake shore. My only complaint is that water pressure was not adequate for a shower and any other water use at the same time. Overall it was beautiful! I hope to return someday. So appreciate that the owners of this Peaceful Paradise are gracious enough to share it! God Bless you!

Excellent stay.

These accommodations and house were perfect. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had all the essentials. The dock and the water toys were in good shape and a great feature. Will definitely stay again.
