Over all worst experience for my family we have ever had at a hotel. First we booked at the Baymont (upper floors) $80/night vs. the Super 8 (lower floors) $68/night for 3 nights because the website showed for the more expensive rooms you get a mini fridge and microwave. After speaking with the desk about the differences we learned all the rooms have the same amenities. The only difference is you have access to a meeting room which you need to reserve. She would not allow us to rebook in the cheaper rooms stating they are a under a different contract.
We then lost power to the t.v.,
Mini fridge, and half the room lights so when we spoke with the desk about the issue she stated it was a breaker and they were looking into it. Eventually, they did resolve the issue so we went to dinner and upon return to the room we found a bedbug and took it to the desk to make them aware and they were not accommodating at all. Did not offer us a different room or any solution to the experience we had so we turned in our keys and left requiring us to rent another room at a different hotel. The employee stated she cannot get in touch with a manager till the next day and gave us the phone number to call her the next morning.
We came back the day and the manager was there and told us she was listening to us talk to the employee from behind the door the night before and she refused to refund our money stating we were offed another room which is a complete lie. Very rude to us, not even an apology
