We were not able to gain access to the property and there was an aggressive pit bull trying to jump the fence to get to us. I messaged and called the host and he just said that I have the codes. I did have the codes he sent me but they didn’t work. I tried to call the host but he sent me to voicemail several times. We had to rent a hotel since we couldn’t get in and didn’t feel safe. The VRBO rep refunded the service charge but says the owner refused refund because I cancelled. I cancelled hours after check in because we couldn’t get in.
