For me, the Sahara Hotel is the best in terms of value for money and location on the Strip. Parking is free and the monorail starts right there. I have stayed at the Sahara, which started out as SLS, six times in the last nine years. Unfortunately, over the last two years, the service and, above all, the friendliness have declined. As long as you don't ask for anything or question anything, everything is great, but as soon as you have a complaint or ask a question, you get short and unfriendly answers. The last time but one, the shower was broken. I had to ask four times and after five days I had to move rooms. I had to change rooms for a day and then wait for my replacement room. After lengthy discussions, they suddenly had a room for me. This time, I politely asked about the VIP Access benefits, such as late check-out, room upgrade and a $15 food voucher. The short, unfriendly response was that they would look into it. In the end, I didn't get any benefits. The $15 was also credited to my card too late, so I didn't get anything, even after asking several times. Despite everything, it must be said that the hotel is still good. As long as you just book, don't make any demands and pay for everything, I recommend the hotel.
