Staying at The STRAT feels like time travel, specifically to an era when “almost good enough” was a business model. The shower is a real test of patience and faith. Hot water does arrive eventually, but only after a meaningful period of self-reflection. Water pressure is best described as a gentle suggestion rather than an actual flow. If you enjoy rinsing shampoo with the intensity of a misting bottle, you’re in luck. Housekeeping showed up at 6 PM, which is perfect if your preferred vibe is “room refresh just in time for bedtime.” Nothing like vacuuming while you’re deciding whether to nap or emotionally give up. Food options are limited, so you’ll want to plan ahead or embrace repeat meals like it’s a loyalty program you didn’t sign up for. And the location. Technically it’s on the Strip, the same way a distant cousin is still family. You’re far enough from the action to feel peaceful, but close enough to feel mildly annoyed about it. Overall, The STRAT is ideal if you want Vegas energy, budget compromises, and a slow-burn relationship with hot water.

TV stopped working at 8:00 pm on my last day. Techs not able to address and advised I would get a call “soon” to advise which room I one moved to. 90 minutes later, I contacted service to find out what was up. Front desk said they hadn’t been notified. Evening was wasted! Wanted me to pack my things and go to Front Desk for a different room assignment. At 10:45 that was not worth it!

staff was great. Was able to get late check out. But our room was very outdated. The bathroom barley had any light. The shower head was very small and low. And the window was letting in a lot of cold air and was falling apart. You pay what you get for but probably won't stay again.
