I recently stayed at the Strat Hotel in Las Vegas for one night, and I had a very disappointing experience with their parking policy. I paid for one night and parking, when I asked the desk attendant about the parking policy, she assured me that my parking was valid for 24 hours.
However, when I tried to leave the next morning, the parking gate didn’t open, I came back to the front desk, she told me to wait for security to assist me. After explaining my situation to the security guard he said I had to pay for an additional day of parking. I asked him why? and pointed out that I was leaving before 24 hours, He agreed with me and let me go.
Now, I've received an email from the parking service stating that I left without paying and that they will be charging me for two days of parking plus additional fees. This is extremely frustrating, and I feel unfairly charged for a situation that arose from a lack of clear communication.
I would not recommend staying here due to their misleading parking policies and poor customer service. They charge $20 parking the day you stay and $20 more the day you check out, even though is less than 24 hours so
